Typically first Eye beam I cloak it and stay on boss. I actually run towards it so I can pop cloak sooner rather than wait and get the CD running. I don't know what you mean by shadowstepping the boss vs using chains. Since you can't really appear behind the boss, I assume this means once the beam has cross the threshold (center) you shadowstep and it puts you back in front of him

I actually started using the BElf racial in my open because I can Mut - SnD - Mut but there is a good second or so of downtime where I can't garrote immediately so I use that GCD to cast that and get some energy back and then I'm able to garrote - flag - vendetta- rupture

Need to get back in there on Heroic and just practice a bit more

But the Rogue who normally beats me, I was beating him on Remnant

i'm only 243 right now, but the fact that I can beat the other rogue during Remnant means I should also be able to beat him during Eye and Nine

I swapped from Venthyr to Kyrian. It was for Subtlety, but I've been enjoying Assassination lately.

1. is Kyrian considered bad for Assassination? I feel like it's less DPS, but I forget what I was simming as Venthyr.

2. Do others find Echoing Reprimand incredibly satisfying to use compared to Flagellation? I agree Flag is likely more DPS in nearly all situations, but it's not as "punchy" and the mini-game of spewing out a bunch of CP for Obedience isn't nearly as noticeable as nailing 7 CP finishers with the Kyrian legendary.

3. I'll sometimes use Poisoned Knife in an attempt to specifically land on the animacharged CP. Is this right to do, or should I avoid doing this and just do my normal rotation?

4. can Poisoned Knife crit? I don't think I've ever seen it generate 2 CP with Seal Fate.

They were apparently pretty good in BfA but I was way ahead of most of them in Nathria. Then with SoD, I wanted to progress and they were really struggling heroic and I was pugging heroic clears multiple times a week for different toons and it was killing me trying to get so much done. So I had to just say screw it and moved my rogue. Most my other toons are still there, but my main was about progressing him
