Like okay, let’s do some examples right. We’ll start easy. For all of these when I refer to “mut damage” that’s the bleed damage, not the actual mutilate damage itself, we only care about mutilated flesh, the doomblade dot. So when you mutilate, that dot gets applied, very cool.

Ex1. Let’s say each mut dot is 100 damage total. They would tick for the duration, until that 100 damage is done, just like garrote/rupture, etc. if you then mut again for 100, you refresh the dot, but the damage isn’t lost. That first one is still doing damage, and the second one is compounding it. So you have 200 damage in total, except instead of 8 seconds, it’s like 10 seconds right?

Ex2. Any other dot (garrote/rupture/CT/poisons, etc), functions based on pandemic. We have a command for it (!pd), but in essence, if your new dot you’re looking to reapply is 10 seconds long, you can reapply that with up to a maximum of 3 seconds left on the currently, on that target, existing dot. The new dot will be 13 seconds long, and do the damage of the new dot. Garrote is the easiest, 18 second dot, 30% is 5.4 seconds. If you apply it with 4 remaining, you get a new 22 second garrote. If that first garrote is empowered by subterfuge, and you reapply, that bonus is lost, because the damage is calculated from the new garrote.

So tldr: mutilate bleed, can think of it as a funnel (the mutilate) full of water (the dot damage) draining into a bucket (the actual dot you see on the target). More mutilates = more funnels and more water, but you still only have 1 bucket. Every other dot, you replace the funnel with a new funnel, and toss the old one

didn't really do much other than tell you, after the fact, whether or not you sucked

lately i've been doing a poor job pooling into flag, or just having bad luck with cp during flag

big number is how many finishers i hit during the window, small numbe ris how many CP i used on those finishers

honestly @quasi ledge the whole thing is useless really

like you said, you know how many stacks you have, you can subtract the initial 5 from it to see how many cp you used

the api was annoying in parts though so it was more just doing it because it got annoying

like so far as i can tell, the combat log for finishers doesn't tell you how many cp was used

so you have to track that separately

so i can be like "oh, my cp went from 6 > 0 at the same time as i used this finisher, it was a sixer"

When you said about the Breath WA I thought you were gonna do one that tracked damage inside Shivs
I used to use that WA on my DK and it was fun to try get a new record each time

god forbid i fire them both at the same time, every mut giving 2 cp is many sads

I had 98% crit with powers and MA on first boss, didn't crit at all on Mutilate from opener and vanish, good times
