Played mostly Sub last season. Going Assassin for 9.1 Have a Doomblade 235 already on gloves. I have a ton of soul ash and was going to recraft it on my back. Just debating the stats. If I am maining Assassin in both PvE and PvE...what stats should I go? Was leaning towards Haste Vers.

I mean PI isn't bad on Rogues. There are just overall much better targets. Keep in mind that Haste doesn't reduce your gcd. PI will not interact with your class mechanics, like it can with Ret Paladin, DK, Warlocks or Mages

From the theory pov, the treshold for pooling is basically "pool the maximum, don't overcap energy". But I usually suggest pooling to ~100 energy with vigor, ~60 without

Once you understand why we pool ressources, the execution is kinda straight forward tbh. Outside of Shiv you just refresh dots when they are in pandemic range, build to 4+ cp and wait for some energy before using Envenom and rebuild CP immediately after. You press Shiv on CD.
During Shiv/Vend you don't pool energy and use energy as soon as you have enough for your next global

But in our "exactly" 300s marker, you will flag at 1:15, then at 2:30, then delay it to 4:10 to line up with Vendetta (insteed of firing at 3:45). But you will basically loose out of Obedience CDR value anyway

You honestly don't loose that much DPS syncing (delaying) Flag with Vendetta every 2mn. And in a lot of cases it is worth-it to sync theim even if you loose a Flag cast because encounter are usually designed around 2mn CD rather than 1:30. Your additionnal Flag cast might be basically wasted DPS pushing a phase you shouldn't even be pushing.

Deadly Poison doesn't apply on some casts like Garrote, Rupture, and Shiv.
It's a minor bug but "notable" in that it does have some noticeable impact on DPS.
Should be around a 100-200 dps loss

The reasoning is a little complicated, but the most important of them is the difference in combo points on crit (up to 4 vs 3).

@woven ruin Oh Blizz wont let you get the daggers that easy. You have to kill her and 2 other Sanctum bosses for it to even have a chance to appear in the vault for that week. Hence the vault loot will always be split between 3 bosses that you've killed for that week. And the more bosses u killed during that week, the more the loot is split among those loot tables for the vault.

well also because gear on bis lists is bis because it assumes you also have every other piece on that list.. seeing the “bis” bracers for example and assuming theyre automatically bis for you when you’re wearing a completely different gearset is when it starts to become unreliable, and bad information to players who don’t understand this concept
