tbh i think with the dps difference being fairly low, i know 40 dps isnt a super small amount, but i think its a difference that basically is small enough to allow players to choose what they are most comfortable with. but i can 100% see Elaborate Planning outshining Blindside as soon as more stats come into the picture with 9.1. i dont see Master poisoner getting a look in with how weak our mastery seems overall though.

Well, we do always preach playing with what you feel comfortable with. A lot of people hate playing Deeper Stratagem and say that they get worse results with it and the solution to that problem is quite simple - just don't play it.

Elaborate Planning gains a lot more value when you start introducing adds to the encounter and if you need more burst. It's a very versatile pick for most fights, because most fights have some sort of add-spawning mechanic. We have 3 true single target fights, and on one of them (Sludgefist) you want to still pick EP to maximize burst windows.

Placebo goes a long way in how you perform. If you feel awful playing a talent, don't play it.

i think the best way i can sum up how it feels to play each, BS + DS feels punchy with nice procs and big finishers, but it also feels a little more clunky at times, EP & Vigor feel smoother and i think 'Safer' but you do lose those little shining moments, i enjoy them both for what they are but i cant say ive picked a favourite yet XD

Yep. A lot of people despise playing with Deeper Stratagem because of how "slow" it feels. It's funny, because when combined with Blinside, DS is very similar in APM-wise when compared to EP/Vig. It's around 3APM less, which is barely noticeable.

waiting doesn't mean you're doing less damage

It doesn't really matter. If you're a blood elf, you can use Arcane Torrent before the garrote.

You cast snd once at the start of the dungeon, and then extend it with envenom the entire run
