im not an expert in rogue by any means so i'm not sure exactly what could help you i assume you are doing envenom chains even when your cds are up, i had some energy issues early on but after slowing down my gameplay and getting some haste it did help

from my understanding assa rogue does punish reactive gameplay, i.e overcapping combo points, not pooling when cds are lining up etc

Are you not pressing Envenom at all? You should be doing CT to 5 combo points and then press Envenom

Improved Garrote Snapshots and other things

Improved Garrote

Since June 2016 when Improved Garrote was added as an effect to Subterfuge, it has never snapshot stats. Guess what it suddenly decided to do! Currently Garrotes cast during the Improved Garrote window are snapshotting tick damage from Agility/Mastery/Vers. This is almost guaranteed to be a bug. What this means is that you should Puzzle Box/Potion, then afterwards vanish and re-apply your garrotes. See the Opener Guide for more information. Sims are updated

!ui, !stats and other things have been updated. Please continue pinging me as you see stuff or if there's a command you think should be added.

Wowhead Guide has gotten a slight update to better explain/reflect stuff. As you see things that are confusing or missing, please do keep pinging me about it. I am aware of some old macros not working. Changes include:

• Cosmos now has raid tips.
• Opener fixes
• Trinket list updates

Yes I'm still missing videos talking about a lot of changes and haven't made an updated video guide on the spec, I hear you. I'd rather get the updates out instead of making a video that I instantly make outdated. Just so happens that's been a pretty common issue lately.

Myth crest usage and FAQ:

• Get your 4p tier ASAP. You get random catalyst charges from mythic+ once you do
• Recrafting your wrists with myth crests is technically inefficient, but the dps is fairly close to other myth-track-upgrade-usages, so if you really want to do that early season, go for it
• Crafting a second dagger isn't entirely trolling. It still sucks, don't get me wrong, but with the changes to auto attack damage, a second dagger could be a competitive third craft for players with lesser access to myth daggers (e.g. not mythic raiding). Please weigh the crest costs and benefits for yourself.
• Yes, the Agility enchants for weapons can be good. It's simming identically for my character personally, it all depends on your secondary stats.
• Yes, the crit-enhancer ring enchant is also good. This is the same deal as the agility weapon enchant. Probably marginally better for most, but not by much. Always sim.
• You want to go to 80% implacable if your energy allows. The push/pull here is whether to end your chain early for energy or keep it going for Rapid Injection/Inspiring Strike. If you have to pick one, pick Rapid Injection, as the Apex is sadly just not big enough energy.

When do I CT???????>>>?>#>>!>!>>?????????

You use CT when you need to spread bleeds. The more advanced version of this (roughly, these numbers aren't in sims yet and can vary wildly based on what fight style you use):

• You would not CT if your rupture has <5 seconds left (this is insanely minor, in the range of ~0.2%)
• You would not CT if the target you're spreading to dies in <3 seconds (this is insanely minor, in the range of ~0.2%)
• Using CT over Fok in giga AoE is only a minor gain between 12 and 20 targets. Under 12 targets and you don't have enough energy, above 20 targets and thrown precision catches up. Depending on how much you believe in 17 target sustained aoe simulations as an accurate model for real game situations (probably shouldn't do that), the gain could get as high as ~1%. Do with that information whatever you want idk simming this ended up being a massive waste of my time
• Yes, CT is spreading internal bleeding. It is incredibly strange, we don't exactly understand why it's doing that, and it doesn't particularly matter for any of the above stuff.

BiS lists are not helpful towards gearing yourself. In order for BiS items to truly be BiS, all items in the list have to be obtained at that level exactly, or else it doesn't make sense. Missing a socket for example would shift your stats slightly. On top of this, all stats being good on Assassination means there are currently over 500 "BiS" combinations that are within margin of error. You should always compare your gear through top gear or droptimizer instead.

Pre-raid or Pre-season BiS from world content is especially not helpful, and we do not maintain any lists of these types. These are absolute meaningless bait for gear that you will be replacing the moment the season comes out. Use Top Gear/Droptimizer to compare against your character.
