Nah, the process is that they hotfix the live changes cause there’s no real “patch” until 12.0.5, and so then they have to add all the hotfixes to the ptr patches they’re releasing, so that when 12.0.5 goes live, they can move all the hotfixes they patched on the ptr back onto the live servers

so you'd still be competing for the same trinkets

and then 3 quests for each difficulty

so you would have a 100% chance to get your trinket after doing a long quest chain and then killing the endboss
