I'd just craft a weapon. You'll recraft it later with myth crests and only lose the gold for recraft mats. Power from embellishment is worth on its own and you can put it in ur offhand between hero dagger and getting myth crests for upgrade

Sin has good passive cleave, and has really good execute, if a fight timer is good you can get a cooldown set in execute and actually have good damage. It's CDs are 2 minutes

Outlaw does good passive cleave, and good single target, it has "Soft funnel" and but has 0 burst damatge

Sub has good aoe, or single target, but not both. It also has the best burst of the 3 on a 1:30 timer

So when u have a fight like, paladins for example

Sub is really, really bad on this fight

WCL doesn't really tell u this when looking at oVERALL stats page

ST patchwork sims don't tell u this

sub tier is like a gorillion dps compared to assa

so this week, ain't no one walking around with that shit

comparatively, you'll see assa performing better than it would compare on any sim you've seen

cause even if both specs were simming 100k on the dot, perfectly on top of each other

sub is doing it with like 15k from the tier

and sin is doing it with 5k

so the baselines are just not the same

but if you're just looking at numbers and going "this bar is bigger than that bar" right

that's not something you're ever considering

on normal alleria yesterday I did like 2 pulls and went yeah okay crimson tempest sucks

and I just untalented it

this happens constantly btw, if you've ever been in like a race to world first stream or some high end mythic+ pusher

people ask them all the time like "why are you doing X, I thought Y was better"

"why are you not talented into X thing"

boomer ass example off the top of my head was JPC progging on mythic sylvanas in shadowlands

the fight generally was pretty single target heavy, the second phase was sorta whatever but had short burn phases, phase 3 was a giga ST dps race

he was playing with another rogue, junkrat

and they both took crimson tempest for the fight (back then was a dot finisher obviously)

and people were like dude wtf why would you do that, that's insane, it's a ST fight

but like the three of us were discussing and looking at his logs

and we're like look, it's a ST loss for sure

but if 80% of your wipes are cause p1

you will just kill the boss in less pulls if you sacrifice some ST and make p1 smoother

so the two of them played crimson tempest and "padded" p1

but it made a difference in the chain damage, and made p1 more consistent

but like if you're not knowledgable enough to consider the actual pain point of a fight, or you're just tunneling on what top damage parsegod whoever is doing for the biggest huge donkey cock details bar

then yeah, you look at that and go bro is trolling

and because classes in general are so braindead compared to where they used to be

the emphasis on that mechanical skill expression is gone, but the logical fight-handling skill expression is still there or in some cases even more prevalent

There is a talent that makes Feint a defensive CD along side Evasion, also keep your rogue pot up and use kicks and stuns generously. It's good to get in the habbit of playing defensively like that because Delves are pretty rough atm and you need to farm your Bountifuls.

Nah damage is fine without Improved Garotte being up 100%, if you need to based your parse on it then just take double Vanish and pop on 2 minute windows. Most fights wont last long enough to need the three vanishes you'll need for DM.
