Apart from dry shiv which is a small min-max you use 2 every minute.In deathstalker When you have DM you go DM shiv KB and when first shiv falls of cast the second, and when DM is on cd you go shiv KB and when first shiv falls off (8sec) you cast the second. In FB you go shiv DM KB and second shiv when it falls off. For starters even in FB you can go DM shiv KB shiv so you don't get messed up

Preferences currently are boot/wrist/belt/dagger for embellishment depending on what you go for

Darkmoon Sigil Ascension (dagger) + Writhing Banding (wrist) is generally "the best" overall, but Blessed Weapon Grip + Dawnthread can be VERY VERY slightly better in m+

Always craft a dagger for at least an offhand. Put Ascencion or Blessed Weapon Grip on it. Additional Crafts should be Boots/Cape/Wrist/Belt for your second embellishment, after that whatever low item level slot is fine, necks can be good crafts.
If you have a myth track weapon in your main hand already read the above and pick whatever you prefer
