this is super super rough math so someone correct me but it seems worth , my rupture ticked 33 times(tbh idk if this rupture was 5cp or higher), multiplied by 8 = 264, and for me with my crit(seal fate) it cost an average of 2 mutilate casts(100 energy) (3 if 7cp) for one rupture

so even if target is 99% dr it is worth to rupture it seems as you net profit somewhere around 100-160 energy give or take depending on haste, crit values and if cast with 5cp or 7cp

Bleed vs Hybrid vs Cleave/FI builds
Broad rules and Section in Guide:

1. If you have to ask, you should play bleed
2. If you're not doing +17's or higher (or rookery), you should play bleed

Some general concepts as to why people play different things:

• Ease of play: Bleed build is simply the easiest to play due to subterfuge/no kingsbane/less need for giant prio targets
• Boss damage: The cleave/zeross build is mainly for boss damage. Assa single target in keys is pretty bad, and the bosses would not be possible otherwise
• Specific Dungeons: Rookery as an example is very boss-heavy, especially the last boss, making bleed less ideal.
• Where the damage is: Bleed spreads out its damage and does great overall due to sudden demise and powerful 3-8 target damage. Hybrid is competitve but doesn't pull ahead until bigger AoE. Cleave is for single target damage and insanely large aoe because of how much caustic and crimson tempest carry aoe damage.

Different specs utilise different levels of optimisation in their configs, some specs add in basically inhuman levels of specific optimisation. That and sim performance doesn't translate to in-game raid performance

See sin being one of the lower specs sim wise but doing very well in raid

Sims should be for comparing gear on the same spec and not for comparing specs v one another

Hi i have a question for keys, it may sound dumb but makes sense in my head. Im new to assa and rogue and i didnt had to target swap in the past, kick focus and it was enough. So, for AOE scenarios can i make a macro for ambush/set focus followed by mutilate/shiv/bane/envenom with /cast [@focus] macros?

why would you cast everything at your focus

just cleave off your main target

and use mouseover macros if you want but its not needed
