best to pop evasion early in P1 before he starts casting a lot, P2 is a lot more manageable simply because he's casting 80% of the time

re: gear, I did it on my rogue when I was uhhh, 625? but really the only thing gear above 615 or so does is let you have a bit more of a margin of error

a friend of mine did it on a 620 arms war without any trouble other than getting oneshot by things that oneshot anyway

you can tricks brann but not at the start as this bugs out the fight and resets it - but this is not required by any means, you can survive the melee unless you get crit twice in a row without Elusive Feint on

double vanish isn't strictly needed but since vanish clears snares, the second charge is potentially useful if you fuck up, and the previous talents let you heal back the damage you'll take from the snare before you realize Brann's being silly again

Hi! Im new to assassination and have a few question about our damage windows in ST.
Are we supposed to use vanish before applying deathmark or are we supposed to use it after shiv + thistle tea, or does it change depending if its in the opener or not ?
I saw a video saying we should use it @ the last 6 seconds of our kingsbane if we have master assassin talented (maybe something changed from when that video was posted 3 months ago tho).
Also, should I aim to re-apply my rupture before going into either deathmark + kingsbane, or just kingsbane if it's <16s but >6s left to avoid applying it during the damage window ?

If you're looking for a quick recommendation: Agi >> Crit = Mastery >= Haste > VersatilityIt's always more accurate to simulate your own character, as stat procs from trinkets/enchants can often de-value their stat relative to others. Stats are not a rigid construct, their values change constantly in relation to each other depending on your character.

• Fatebound will generally want more crit than Deathstalker due to Deal Fate
• Deathstalker prefers more Mastery/Haste due to Darkest Night guaranteeing a crit
• Always Always ALWAYS sim yourself through Top Gear and Droptimizer for accurate results

• Super Min-Max stuff includes avoiding the auto proc of tea (less than +0.2%, tea/shiv macro is optimal)
• Refreshing Envenom in pandemic instead of spamming it (mostly relevant for m+ without TTK, can be up to 0.5%)
• Otherwise nothing matters. Pooling before kingsbanes isn't important because of tea lining up and deathmark giving a huge surge of energy

you can see that i ambushed at 0:00

and i didn't get the mark

so it wasn't even a ring destealth or anything else

the first ambush is not in the Casts tho ... i don't understand why
