question on strategics in grim batol. Do you guys find yourself using garrote the most to spread ironwire? That is what i've been doing and sure it maybe helped some people not take dmg, but it definitely effects my dps since it lowers my caustic a bit on the details chart.

you should still end up with 5-6 ruptures, and the whole pack garroted

then, while subterfuge is still active. you can use garrote as a builder on any mobs that start casting while otherwise playing your nomal rotation

thats better than my BM hunter ilvl 615 by 200k dps single target lol
my biggest problem was not keeping Rupture on at all times, and spamming IT too.. wasting energy, instead of letting it burn and spamming envenom

- Super Min-Max stuff includes avoiding the auto proc of tea (less than +0.2%, tea/shiv macro is optimal)
- Refreshing Envenom in pandemic instead of spamming it (mostly relevant for m+ without TTK, can be up to 0.5%)
- Otherwise nothing matters. Pooling before kingsbanes isn't important because of tea lining up and deathmark giving a huge surge of energy

i have a question...so sin rogue is a dot based rogue mostly right with the exception of caustic.... in the next season....they are reducing the health gained per level in m+ from 10% to 7%...with this change wont the hp pool of the mobs become lower...hence they will die faster...for our bleeds to do much..or for us to finish our setup to get into caustic spamming...so...wont the bursty specs takeover in this next season...atleast from the 10s i have done on ptr....quite alot of bursty specs are out dpsing me,...atm...mainly cause the mobs are dying a little too fast...even like right now we have in +10s ~ 13s...with the bursty spec basically nuking the mobs before our setup is done or the mobs are like 40% hp odd when we can start spamming caustic.......wont that affect us in some way? or maybe it will be outlaw or sub season next.... maybe im being too dramatic...

I would say yes bursty specs will dominate. Don't forget, sin does have sudden demise. Which helps imo to elevate the issue.

They are not lowering the hp of mobs. Theyre increasing the baseline and lowering the scaling
So its actually more health at lower keys, relative to higher keys

Running out of energy in single target is completely normal, intended design of Assassination. You want to be playing for the highest uptime on Envenom, and not blindly spamming away all your energy. Rapid Injection, Sanguine Blades, and Vicious Venoms all play into this gameplay.
- No, haste will not make this feel noticeably better.
- 10% haste only contributes to around 2 actions per minute
- You should be playing for envenom uptime in single target

This is repeatable with mind control, but is most common on the third boss of Grim Batol when skipping the two elites before the boss.
You can avoid it by being EXTREMELY careful to not target anything when your target shifts, but otherwise not much to be done. Just be careful and aware as it is a niche bug that should not happen frequently
