looks like your dots are dropping, make sure to refresh both garrote and rupture before they run out, in pandemic range
work on that opener, the sequence was ok but your vanish was giga late, you want to vanish while dm and kb are still ticking, to get master assassin and refresh improved garrote
on second set of cds you've casted kb late, you want to dm->shiv->kb, if you have to refresh the dots, do it before you send, also you didn't use vanish here
idk what you are doing between 0:45 - 1:00, if you're trying to pool energy, that's not needed and i wouldn't honestly, you have enough on almost every fight to constantly be pressing buttons
your apm is kinda low, probably due to that pooling attempt, try to always be pressing your spells, even when you're moving, for comparison i have almost 61 apm on hc sikran, you have 45
there is a small optimization with deathstalker where you cast fan of knives on single target, when you have clear the witness, that's something you can read up in wowhead guide, but i'd not focus on that before you've figured out the basics

edit: oh and also make a macro for shiv to use thistle tea with it, for some reason you're not casting it at all

thanks for these! yeah the dead time at 0:45 was me getting targeted with the Phase Blades and running out iirc. it was a pug so there was the standard scrambling and not being used to each other and getting positioned that results in those things taking longer than they should. even so, is there something I should/could be doing there?
I definitely keep forgetting to use vanish for the improved garrote on second/third CD windows. obv need to work on its timing too.
I haven't been pressing Tea because I saw they made a change where it just auto-casts when you get low, but I'm guessing if I macro it to shiv then the idea is I won't have that issue in the first place?
