Bracers for example have the lowest agi/stats out of every slot, which is why every embellishment is crafted on bracers. Spending the crests to upgrade literally any other slot is going to be better

Running out of energy in single target is completely normal, intended design of Assassination. You want to be playing for the highest uptime on Envenom, and not blindly spamming away all your energy. Rapid Injection, Sanguine Blades, and Vicious Venoms all play into this gameplay.

The reason I ask is because there is me and a hard main sub rogue in the raid, hes rerolled sin and I have advised on a lot of the rotation / min-maxing / specifics etc. He's vastly improve and is now often just ahead of me in DPS, despite most raids I remember another nugget to share with him that hes not been doing. This is definitely not a WTF is going wrong, its just I'm teaching him how to optimise, but he has often been ahead of me without the finer elements down. Really struggling as to WTH I'm missing haha, come to the conclusion that hes the superior rogue and just better at implementing what I thought i was already doing!

I open with ambush for darkest night proc. I spam garrote and rupture twice (I know I waste CP here) then crimson, then muti for spatter then basically fok envenom and keeping crimson and spatter up. Also keeping an eye on the whole darkest night thing and keeping that up. envenom with 5cp / 7cp

Even besides the kill time, your kb between deathmarks can get griefed by the second dashes. I didn't send it until after I confirmed I wasn't getting dashes. And if that happens, it sets your CDs behind a few seconds

There’s no absolute answer on what to sim. They’re just models to compare gear/builds. dungeon slice is middle of the road: if you’re looking for an aoe build do 10t, 8t whatever, if you wanna know boss damage just do 1t. There’s no exact answer for m+ simming it’s not going to spit out a number and you say “that’s what my dps should be” but it’ll give you the build changes and differences you need

Running out of energy in single target is completely normal, intended design of Assassination. You want to be playing for the highest uptime on Envenom, and not blindly spamming away all your energy. Rapid Injection, Sanguine Blades, and Vicious Venoms all play into this gameplay.

the answer is it depends entirely on the fight and the mechanic, sometimes you have to send on cooldown because you would miss a use of the cooldown if you hold

Running out of energy in single target is completely normal, intended design of Assassination. You want to be playing for the highest uptime on Envenom, and not blindly spamming away all your energy. Rapid Injection, Sanguine Blades, and Vicious Venoms all play into this gameplay.
- No, haste will not make this feel noticeably better.
- 10% haste only contributes to around 2 actions per minute
- You should be playing for envenom uptime in single target
