When opening and applying ruptures to a pack of mobs, I’ve been applying it once then selecting another target it’s not on to apply again. Just realised that you can just reapply to the same mob and it automatically goes on mobs that don’t already have it 😪

Indiscriminate Carnage Targetting and Swapping
TLDRMouseovers/Target swapping is optimal on 6 target, or 8+ targets, but not necessarily required

• The 2 Bleeds spread by carnage are smart and will prioritize mobs without the bleed. If everything already has bleeds it'll apply randomly
• You as the character are still casting the bleed against your target like normal, this is why people will sometimes use mouseover macros or swap targets

Swapping targets is situationally better, but can be ignored if you're having difficulties with it. Take 5 mob aoe as an example, your first garrote cast will apply to 3 targets (your target + 2 more). Regardless of if you swap or not, your second cast of garrote will hit your target, and then apply 2 more garrotes, prioritizing the mobs that do not have garrote. In very large aoe pulls (12 or more), a standard opener (garrote-garrote-rupture-rupture-garrote-garrote) will only apply 9 garrotes (3+2+2+2) and 5 ruptures (3+2) if you do not swap, losing you 3 garrotes and a rupture.

It is technically worse, but the situations in which you lose bleeds aren't very common; the lost ruptures/garrotes don't contribute much to your already flooded energy, you don't get additional scent of blood stacks, etc. The loss is purely the extra damage from those bleeds.

Depends on class composition and dungeon levels.

But as someone said above, having a pala and/or fury makes things melt literally instantly when they pop their CDs, atleast till 10s. So you'll be wasting CDs if you all sync. And that's why I don't join any group if they have both pala and fury

But on 12 and above, the big mobs have sufficiently high health that they will live through full kingsbane even with pala and fury CDs

For eg., dawnbreaker first pull. If I have a pala/fury, I will just use my shiv, then on the ship, I will pop KB/DM

Weakauras has identified a source of large lag on some weakauras. This happens on any weakauras using MODELS in their display tab. Deleting the model or turning the affected weakaura to never load should give back a couple of FPS.

Indiscriminate Carnage Targetting and Swapping
TLDRMouseovers/Target swapping is optimal on 6 target, or 8+ targets, but not necessarily required

• The 2 Bleeds spread by carnage are smart and will prioritize mobs without the bleed. If everything already has bleeds it'll apply randomly
• You as the character are still casting the bleed against your target like normal, this is why people will sometimes use mouseover macros or swap targets

Swapping targets is situationally better, but can be ignored if you're having difficulties with it. Take 5 mob aoe as an example, your first garrote cast will apply to 3 targets (your target + 2 more). Regardless of if you swap or not, your second cast of garrote will hit your target, and then apply 2 more garrotes, prioritizing the mobs that do not have garrote. In very large aoe pulls (12 or more), a standard opener (garrote-garrote-rupture-rupture-garrote-garrote) will only apply 9 garrotes (3+2+2+2) and 5 ruptures (3+2) if you do not swap, losing you 3 garrotes and a rupture.

It is technically worse, but the situations in which you lose bleeds aren't very common; the lost ruptures/garrotes don't contribute much to your already flooded energy, you don't get additional scent of blood stacks, etc. The loss is purely the extra damage from those bleeds.

TLDR:Maintain max uptime on Envenom

• For Fatebound, Sanguine Blades is typically much better than Deathstalker. For this reason, if you can't maintain Envenom uptime anymore, you should build combo points, then reset your energy back to around 70% before maintaining again.
• For Deathstalker, try to stay under 50% as much as possible while maxing out Envenom uptime. Single target builds play Vicious Venoms instead of Sanguine Blades as well.

The reason we do this is to maximize uptimes and use energy more efficiently for Deathstalker marks/cooldowns. Staying under 50% leads to more Envenom casts, which is more Darkest Night Procs. For Fatebound, heads flips contribute damage regardless of if you're flipping or not, so this pressure to keep spending is lessened.

Vanish->Ambush during cooldowns with Darkest Night up has two main benefits:

• Getting more mark uptime by reapplying when it's down
• Consuming Darkest Night then puts you from 3 stacks of the mark down to 2 since the mark is already applied

As of September 13th with the Echoing Reprimand Fix, that second part is broken. Blizzard inadvertantly added a bug where you cannot consume mark stacks while darkest night is active. This will hopefully get resolved quickly as it is quite impactful. Until that time, you might want to consider taking improved garrote in your single target build (instead of 1 point of vicious venoms, or instead of improved poison). You do not have to do this, and if you would like to continue to play without improved garrote, you would simply hold onto your vanish in case you drop the mark. Once the bug is fixed you would go back to vanish->ambush.
