Darkmoon Sigil Ascension (dagger) + Writhing Banding (wrist) is generally "the best" in raid, but has ramp time and is worse in m+
2x Dawnthread (wrist/belt) is generally the best in m+ and not far behind of Ascencion/Banding for raids. Equal in single target at 80% uptime

Craft a dagger if you're unlucky and don't get one and are down bad and crying about your pathetic little 580 main hand dagger. Put Ascencion on it
If you have a big dagger in your main hand already read the above and pick whatever you prefer

pugging is a problem yeah, but if you are selective you can queue for groups without people that can roll against you. but i just mean that for most aotc guilds, i feel loot distribution is out of the question

The first 2-3 in raid Mythic will be soon farmed in pugs too. So you can have relatively easy access to Mythic gear even as a casual

Main issue for me (obviously coming from a M+ andy rather than raider) with this xpac is not the loot distribution / availability but the scaling of keys. A lot of people will just stop after 11s and never get into 12 due to the scarcity of keys and the severe increase of difficulties for pugs.

Again no complain on my end there, I quite enjoy the season and the keys. Issue is the scarcity when you cannot have a team. On the other hand Mythic raid is the same you need to invest

It's the non linearity of the key that create a blocade due to everyone needing 12s with low amount. There were always some bottleneck and it will take a few weeks to clear out but this itme it is even worse than previous xpac

the key level is moving, so if you are the 0.1%, you will reach it, if not you will not

Preferences currently are wrist/belt/dagger for embellishment depending on what you go for

Darkmoon Sigil Ascension (dagger) + Writhing Banding (wrist) is generally "the best" in raid, but has ramp time and is worse in m+
2x Dawnthread (wrist/belt) is generally the best in m+ and not far behind of Ascencion/Banding for raids. Equal in single target at 80% uptime

Craft a dagger if you're unlucky and don't get one and are down bad and crying about your pathetic little 580 main hand dagger. Put Ascencion on it
If you have a big dagger in your main hand already read the above and pick whatever you prefer
