The thing you're asking to track is very simple and will be doable via template pretty quickly.

Sure is. That's a bit more complex than what a template will walk you through doing but it's absolutely something you could do with just a couple of triggers and some conditions.

Keep in mind for your second sound, if neither mark nor darkest night are up, that's a persistent condition not really tied to anything so you may need to think about exactly when you want such a sound to play. Entering combat? Only playing once when you attack? Etc.

@slate crown triggering a sound was pretty simple. got that sussed for my darkest night part (havent gotten to the next one yet) is there a way to change the volume of the sound being played, or do i need to edit the mp3 im using for custom sound itself to change it before using it?

Yeah there's a limitation there with controlling volume. A way to control this is to select a different sound channel for the sound to play on, and you can adjust each sound channel separately in the main sound settings of the game.

You definitely can produce a quiet/louder source sound though, that would work, assuming you know how to modify sound files (I do not).

But when a sound itself plays there's not an individual volume slider on that sound play instance
