Okay maybe cooked but napkin mathing a bit i think, each envenom cp is worth the same amount of damage, we’ll call it e. So the math is whether 1.6x5e (8e) is better than 1.6x6e (9.6e) or 1.6x7e (11.2e) when accounting for waste on top. The waste part is tricky though. It’s not energy waste, cause e is a constant in terms of damage per energy, so we’re thinking in terms of e. If you finish on 5, that means you’re generating on 4, so with 30% crit, you have 9% chance to overcap 1e, which is equal to 0.09e, with finish on 6 you generate on 5, you have 9% for 2 waste, so 0.18e, then 42% chance that either crit happens, so that’s 0.42e, for a total of 0.6e, with finish on 7 you generate on 6, you waste 1e guaranteed, then 0.6e for the crits so that’s 1.6e, smash it back together and you’d get

8-0.09=7.91
9.6-0.6=9
11.2-1.6=9.6

So as of that, you got more efficiency from 7cp, but that’s assuming you’re always finishing on 5/6/7 in those cases which isn’t true when you generate cause seal fate, so we gotta account for that as well. That’s a lot of fucking work but with 30% crit you can steal the waste math and generalize that to 2 cp base, 0.42 average from single crit, 0.09 from double crit(0.18), and you get and average cp per mut of 2.6

We can then take that and kinda go gcd by gcd and just say it’s GoodEnough.png cause i would have to do a big probability tree otherwise and fuck you. So gcd 1 we always land at 2.6 average, then gcd 2 we land at 5.2 average. That 0.2 is an extra 0.2e so our 5cp finisher gets a big ol 8.11e. Nice. For 6cp we gotta generate more so got another 2.6, so that’s 7.8 average, we get 1.8e extra for total of 10.8e, waste is already accounted for, nice, and that’s 7.8 works gets us to 7 so we get an extra 0.8e for 10.6e

So the grand total
5cp is 8.11e value
6cp is 10.8e value
7cp is 10.6e value
TLDR in that hypothetical just off of my 4:30am napkin math which maybe is wrong probably, you would want to consume on at least 6 given everything else is it because 60% is a big buff, and that kinda makes sense, and also makes sense why symbolic victory doesn’t change the logic cause it’s kinda real small and pathetic and this didn’t make me any more tired please im trying to sleep

• For Fatebound, sanguine blades is typically much better than Deathstalker. For this reason, if you can't maintain Envenom uptime anymore, you should build combo points, then reset your energy back to around 70% before maintaining again.
• For Deathstalker, try to stay under 50% as much as possible while maxing out Envenom uptime. Single target builds play vicious venoms instead of sanguine blades as well.

The reason we do this is to maximize uptimes and use energy more efficiently for Deathstalker marks/cooldowns. Staying under 50% leads to more envenom casts, which is more Darkest Night Procs. For Fatebound, heads flips contribute damage regardless of if you're flipping or not, so this pressure to keep spending is lessened.

There are no "recommended stat levels" or "breakpoint of X stat" or "required" amount of any stats. This is an outdated way to think about stats and simply is not relevant to the spec. If you're looking for a quick recommendation: Agi >> Crit = Mastery >= Haste > VersatilityIt's always more accurate to simulate your own character, as stat procs from trinkets/enchants can often de-value their stat relative to others. Stats are not a rigid construct, their values change constantly in relation to each other depending on your character.

• Fatebound will generally want more crit than Deathstalker due to Deal Fate
• Deathstalker prefers more Mastery/Haste due to Darkest Night guaranteeing a crit
• Always Always ALWAYS sim yourself through Top Gear and Droptimizer for accurate results
