Quick Temporary pin for Trinkets, I have updated the wowhead trinket tier now that trinkets have been figured out/fixed in sims/buffed/nerfed. These changes include the nerfs coming with the weekly reset (they didn't impact us much). Attached is image of the new tier list.

The list is a combined raid/m+ evaluation, but there is a lot of overlap for the two. Play Skardyns + anything in the S or A tier

TLDR:Nothing important honestly Still playing skardyns + some other thing

• Ara-Kara Sacbrood - Primary stat reduced by 5%.
• Harvester's Edict - Damage and Mastery effect increased by 5%.
• Shadow-Binding Ritual Knife - Primary stat reduced by 5%.

These three are kinda the "important" ones since they were pretty good or close to good. In general though these are mostly minor tweaks and some of the raid/delve trinkets need a lot more than 5-8% to be competitive. They also said they're looking at Delve trinkets specifically in the future. Maybe more raid/dungeon trinket tuning when that happens, not sure

• For Deathstalker, try to stay under 50% as much as possible while maxing out Envenom uptime. Single target builds play vicious venoms instead of sanguine blades as well.

The reason we do this is to maximize uptimes and use energy more efficiently for Deathstalker marks/cooldowns. Staying under 50% leads to more envenom casts, which is more Darkest Night Procs. You are sort of right but the answer to your question if it was meant to be 100% accurate it would depend on the boss fight aswell, for example how do you treat the moment bloodhound casts his aoe and you have to run away because your cloak is on cd and so on. You just envenom and refresh your bleeds at the last second until kingsbane and the two shivs come back.

BiS lists are not helpful towards gearing yourself. In order for BiS items to truly be BiS, all items in the list have to be obtained at that level exactly, or else it doesn't make sense. Missing a socket for example would shift your stats slightly. You should always compare your gear through top gear or droptimizer instead.

Pre-raid or Pre-season BiS is especially not helpful, and we do not have any of them. These are absolute meaningless bait for gear that you will be replacing the moment the season comes out. Use Top Gear/Droptimizer to compare against your character

Preferences currently are wrist/belt/dagger for embellishment depending on what you go for

Darkmoon Sigil Ascension (dagger) + Writhing Banding (wrist) is generally "the best" in raid, but has ramp time and is worse in m+
2x Dawnthread (wrist/belt) is generally the best in m+ and not far behind of Ascencion/Banding for raids. Equal in single target at 80% uptime

Craft a dagger if you're unlucky and don't get one and are down bad and crying about your pathetic little 580 main hand dagger. Put Ascencion on it
If you have a big dagger in your main hand already read the above and pick whatever you prefer
