Hi! I'm pretty new to wow and I like the rogue gameplay, I played a bit of both specs and I prefered assa. Now I'm learning to do the best but tbh I struggle on the learning phase, like I understand my priority list but don't rly know the best way to learn the opener, like I always forgive a spell or just send one twice, etc... If you're looking for a quick recommendation: Agi >> Crit = Mastery >= Haste > VersatilityIt's always more accurate to simulate your own character, as stat procs from trinkets/enchants can often de-value their stat relative to others. Stats are not a rigid construct, their values change constantly in relation to each other depending on your character.

• Fatebound will generally want more crit than Deathstalker due to Deal Fate

So not sure if this is intended and also didn't check it against the bug list but -
If you have capstone and you ambush from stealth, you'll have both a marked enemy and a capstone. If you use the capstone on a different enemy the first marked one will be unmarked but if you use the capstone on the marked enemy it'll just refresh the mark.
Also - if you have a capstone and you 7 CP envenom which kills a target, it'll consume the capstone and not refresh it as the target technically never had the mark to die with.

Besides that - plz fix ER 😦 makes the mark gameplay so janky

You will not want to break your tier until roughly 40 or 50 item levels above your tier set, at which point you should simulate yourself through top gear to get direct, accurate answers. Am I just awful or does deathstalker feel really fucky sometimes like not consuming stocks when you feel like it should or the target dying as you cast envenom and you lose the darkest night buff

and just dont cast envenom on low hp targets with the buff

it does the amped dmg first and then applies the marks (consumes the buff for the amp already)

I should also mention that I use ctrl a lot because it rests under the left side of my palm and I press it with that, I don't use my pinky to press it. I know there are many people that don't do that and my binds may be hard if you use your pinky for ctrl.

This is highly dependant on your gear as a character so make sure you check with a sim first before swapping/deleting gear

If you're looking for a quick recommendation: Agi >> Crit = Mastery >= Haste > VersatilityIt's always more accurate to simulate your own character, as stat procs from trinkets/enchants can often de-value their stat relative to others. Stats are not a rigid construct, their values change constantly in relation to each other depending on your character.

• Fatebound will generally want more crit than Deathstalker due to Deal Fate
• Deathstalker prefers more Mastery/Haste due to Darkest Night guaranteeing a crit
• Always Always ALWAYS sim yourself through Top Gear and Droptimizer for accurate results

Explanation of why stealth benefits aren't as important as you might think:

• Garrote is roughly 10-12% of people's damage in a key, most of which is already empowered/cleaved
• Most energy spreading will come from Rupture to maintain scent of blood, not garrote
• Without a Trace (+1 vanish charge) only grants roughly 2 additional casts across a whole dungeon
• While Without a Trace can allow for better vanish timings, the difference in damage provided is at most replacing a non-stealth opener with a stealth opener (you aren't necessarily getting "added" casts, just "better" casts)
• You can argue that it "feels bad", but numerically there is very little ground to stand on, the dps simply isn't there.

  Echoing Reprimand....
• Yes, Echoing Reprimand doesn't interact with the Mark / Darkest Night, this is one of the biggest bugs still plaguing Deathstalker as a whole
• Until it is fixed, you would want to run 2/2 Lethality and still put 1 point into Echoing Reprimand
  But the 3rd cp or something?
• Correct, there has been a newly found... bug? interaction? With the Mark and Echoing Reprimand. It requires you to have your 3rd combo point be animacharged, the Mark be applied from Darkest Night, and then consuming the animacharge with Envenom. Should all those conditions be met, it will consume a stack of the Mark as intended.
  Does Blizzard know?
• There is no way they don't know. This has been mass reported, screamed from the rooftops, highlighted in every wowhead article, youtube video, forum post and stream since Deathstalker was revealed in alpha. The only thing we can do is keep reporting the bug through the in-game report, making noise on forums, and waiting.
