Absolutely not, Deathmark and Vanish serve completely different purposes. Assassination does not really have anything that requires macroing, except maybe a 2min trinket with Deathmark, but that's it.

Yes, you save both Shiv charges for Kingsbane windows in ST, in AoE it's a bit more tricky because you have to weight whether you want to use Shiv with AP on AoE, or with Kingsbane

If targets die before Kingsbane ends, might not be worth it.

Yeah it's more of an experience thing. In high keys you generally want to save Shiv charges with KB even in AoE because you know that the mobs will live the entire duration

But in lower keys where you cannot make sure of that, it's better to send one Shiv on cooldown basically and making sure to at least have one saved up for KB windows in case the mobs do live

Saving Shiv's and pairing Shiv with KB is essentially useless if the mob you use KB on dies in 3 seconds.
