Yeah, which is something that I was cooking up a bit in the lab previously and thinking whether it's worth to skip the first vanish entirely by using 2 garrotes in the beginning and vanish at 2:00 instead and Deathmark at around 2:05

But it doesn't look like it's the best play, it's better to vanish early on and then hold Deathmark slightly at 2mins to sync it with the desync'd Vanish

Which then syncs them up again for future uses

So it was Guild vs Guild combat

And whomever was there first always had an advantage

I was one of the first people in the server to make an Epic weapon

Hitting that regrade and everyone in the server gets a notification of my succesful regrade

What a great feeling

Explanation of why restealths aren't as important as you might think:

• Garrote does roughly 14% of your damage overall in a key. This means from 100% improved garrote uptime to 0% improved garrote uptime, you would be losing 4.6% of your overall damage
• You can add in some sanguine/rupture value from carnage, but chaining allows for higher uptime and smoother energy overall, eliminating a lot of ramp at the start of a pull
• This is compounded by the fact that you simply do not lose that many restealths (chain heavy spiteful weeks are only about -30% on stealths)
• You still have vanish which gives you plenty of options to get your stealth effects
• This has been supported by logs and by simulations, for many years

your garrote does alot

there's good chain pulls and bad chain pulls, tbh stealth doesn't matter at all if he's doing the former. you'll miss it most with the latter. it's fine though. if you get a bad tank like that then use vanish to work around it. you get a good tank and send vanish whenever to slam

I came back to this season m+ just a few weeks ago and there was A LOT of tanks doing bad chain pulls. but tonight I had a good one for the first time since and it's a dream to have that situation, IC be damned, it's a lot more managable when you have a lot of the ramp already rolling

i would kill off the last add and not move forward
