Hi Guys, I posted in the wrong channel, fairly new rogue here, I play assasintion as I like the element of poisions. I've gone through wowhead and icey veins and even downloaded the 'Hero' dmg helped for rotation. I'm problem is whilst I'll be the first to say I need to 'get good' now that I'm lv 70 with all abilities I'm finding the order and sequence of using the abilities really awkward - anyone else feel this way - just looking for some advice/input. I love the rogue class but's its getting so awkward say compared to arms warrior - which seems very straight forward by comparison.

Regarding the rotation addon helper, I would not recomend it. Try to read the guides and learn the rotation and not just follow a robot.
Try to read this guide https://www.method.gg/guides/assassination-rogue and try to see some keys on youtube.
Spend some good time in the dummys just getting used to the rotation and the machanics..

your advice is already brilliant. I read the method rotaiton and it mentions the use of both fan of knives and crimson tempest. The Hero rotation helper never mentioned the use if them at all and fcoused on Envenom, which I wrongly assumed was due to caustic splatter spam for aoe dmg

Hekili gets the assa basic rights, it helped me to learn in which order to press my keys, but if you want to play well in any spec you shouldn't be using rotation addons, unless maybe you're sitting on a patchwerk dummy 100%

For any more help feel free to ask here but a quick insight is :
1)Maintain rupture and garrote and slice and dice
2)Allign ur big cooldowns (Deathmark+Kingsbane every 2min with ur on-use trinket,preferably ashes of the embersoul.Use 1 Kingsbane every 1 minute until deathmark comes off cd and allign it with kingsbane again,they never fail to allign)
3)ALWAYS COVER ur kingsbane windows with 2 shivs to maximize the dmg
4)Press crimson tempest assuming ur other bleeds are already active and running for some juicy ''aoe'',never use on single target though.
5)Dont be afraid to press vanish and reapply garrote if u cant get restealths on m+

Rotation helpers are demonized a lot, but tbh if approached appropriately they can be useful to get your feet wet in a spec/role you’ve never played before
Can help build a little muscle memory of the basics for you to dive into a guide and build off of
