Guys, I was comparing a HoI +10 run I did with this 100% log, and why is my envenomous explosion so low? This guy's EE did 40million damage more than mine O.o
Maybe im letting my envenom buff drop? I saw that theres a trick called pooling energy for burst windows (tea?) + maintaining the buff up.

Thing is, those builds are not high endgame because they are harder, they're high endgame because they're less functional on lower key levels

because mobs die way too quickly to take advantage of their power

Pickpocket is purely flavor and not something you need to worry about, but if you did want to use it it would be awkward to click it from the spell book, but not worth dedicating a major key slot to if you're trying to reduce bloat

Envenom is used the most, all the time. Garrote and rupture are dots you maintain and you only maintain them on ST, but you cast them frequently in M+. Kingsbane you use 1/min, on CD. Shiv you use twice per minute, during your Kingsbane. Tea is used dynamically but also once per minute with kingsbane

Yeah, you outside of your dance/vanish/natural opener stealth windows you have to just apply them one by one and upkeep them. That's the nature of the spec. In early keys you will usually have natural opener stealth pretty frequently and most packs die within the timerange of your first round fading, but as you get higher up yeah they'll outlive, in which case you spread with your dance/vanish windows, otherwise upkeep manually.

Your next dance won't ever be that far away though

Hey guys, I have a question regarding M+ when your tank is chain pulling mobs. I tend to get confused as to whether I should be just bleeding everything or doing caustic splatter. Is there a rule of thumb for when to do which?

Like for example. Caustic splatter on 3-5 mobs, any larger packs you do crimson tempest and all your bleeds.

Or is it like. Put all your bleeds on all targets, including CT. And THEN caustic splatter / envenom rotation?

FWIW that decision making is a lot easier when you play the cleave build. Your ruptures only really exist to give you energy. With the shock builds you’re worried about maintaining ruptures for bonus agi and the bleeds contribute a lot of damage. With the poison/cleave build. Your tank can chain pull and you can manually apply a rupture or two, it’s not a big deal at all. Your decision making is really just “ which mob do I send on”

If you're looking for a quick recommendation: Agi >> Mast = Crit = Haste > VersatilityIt's always more accurate to simulate your own character, as stat procs like Witherbark's Branch and Wafting Devotion can often de-value the stat in question. Stats are not a rigid construct, their values change constantly in relation to each other depending on your character.
