TLDR:```- Outside of Cooldowns, you want to wait until your envenom is in pandemic/around 1 second in order to proc tier. This is the core concept of "chaining", where you clip envenoms back to back

• Always wait to envenom, never wait to mutilate/ambush. You want to generate your combo points as soon as possible, and then evaluate whether you should pool or use a finisher

I do think there's a structural difference with some classes and the leveling experience that is just baked into class design. I.e. classes that have frontloaded GCD damage which aren't really about finessing around a target and precisely established burst windows, and are durable, (i.e. classes that basically faceroll dealing strong damage to packs by just holding W and facerolling damage buttons) will do better than those that involve more operational finesse or establishing damage windows, like rogue. It doesn't have to be that way, but when mobs die super quick, you precisely establishing a shadow dance window or a KB opener is useless.

I've wanted a leveling option for a while that allows for more sustained, elite mobs to kill solo where classes like rogue can focus on single target setups (or, 1-2 targets) and be rewarded accordingly with higher XP. Quests where you actually have an opportunity for a single named mob to live an extended period are very rare, when they exist they're more fun imo (because for rogue we can actually do our full opener) than the rest of the questing experience which is basically just lawn mower simulator, and classes like ret are going to dominate that and make classes like rogue feel... not worth the effort. I don't think it's a class design problem, I think it's a leveling experience problem.

It gets better as you get to higher levels for sure, and you can simulate the experience by un-equipping your gear, but the XP rewards don't scale for your efforts in doing so. But it still feels present through the experience and has for a long time. Dungeons don't help this because of level scaling fuckery
