  • Always wait to envenom, never wait to mutilate/ambush. You want to generate your combo points as soon as possible, and then evaluate whether you should pool or use a finisher

the reason we cast envenom more than just to refresh the buff / proc 4P during Kingsbane is because this is also our Shiv uptime and tho Nature dmg% so big Envenom (+4p burst) right ? Or does spamming Envenom increase Kingsbane dmg ?
And for scenarios where you are going to be low on energy if you keep the chain and you need to refresh dot etc and your CDs are coming back, we should break the chain earlier to make sure we have all dots + enough energy (how much is enough ?) to be able to spam Envenom during KB right ?

I mean sure shiv is there and they all play together.. keeping envenom up during KB is mostly for the increased poison application change since KB scales based off every time you apply a lethal poison.. so more applications of lethal poisons because of envenom = bigger KB stacks for the last tick. So it's still not necessarily spamming envenom during KB as much as keeping it rolling the whole time (which kinda turns into spamming there).
Kinda feely crafty but it is generally better to make sure rupture is refreshed before you go into KB (though as long as envenom is rolling and won't drop it's fine to refresh during KB .. usually I try to refresh during dance window for the empowered rupture but I think whispyr said the gain is small so it's whatever)... Usually about 6-7 seconds before KB is coming off cd I make sure I refresh rupture and then let my energy pool to prepare for the KB window.. sometimes I zone out and forget and have to tea before my KB so I don't delay it too much (woops.. but I still have one tea for end of KB).. so it's fine to break your chain early in order to do your prep for the KB window.. it's better to break it and have good amount of energy going into KB rather than keep the chain going and go into the KB struggling.

You should go into the icon aura, add an Aura trigger, then list out every rtb buff in that single aura trigger

Then scroll down to the bottom and make sure "Preferred Match" is set to "Most remaining time"

Then you can do whatever you want in Conditions based on that trigger's remaining duration
