Sry I'm mid key. What I mean is that raid buffs can absolutely have a big impact on your output, and differences between specs can also be significant. But if you sim the scenarios for all buffs and specs you can easily compare if the results you're seeing in game match the differences in the sim or if yours are way bigger and the problem might be gameplay related. @untold igloo

Main thing that I think people miss is that buffs and debuffs in wow are multipliers typically. If something says 10% more damage or 5% more damage or takes 100% more damage

They all stack

That’s why stacking cooldowns on classes and lining them up is typically so good

And lust with cooldowns with windfury is way better

You're always going to want some distribution of all stats

Which means it is invisible for 95% of content

Just because of how CTTC works, I see little need to have anything major for SnD indication

The best performing aura is the one that doesn’t exist

(Or that doesn’t load)

Doesn’t mean you have to delete yours, just keep that in mind based on how we use SnD as sin when you think about how you want your SnD aura to work, esp if you are concerned about performance

You can't optimize fight by fight in a key, like you can't swap gear and change talents. What you pick going in is what you get. If you go giga full aoe, that's going to shine on 5t patchwerk but then when a ST boss comes up in the key, it's going to suffer.

Single target is important in keys too

Dungeon slice tests multiple pull sizes and encounter types at once

So you get a sense of how, on balance, what you are entering is going to do in a variety of situations

rather than just "giga aoe"

How much would I be hindering myself if I macro Ashes of Embersoul into Kingsbane? Guide says to use it 2-3 seconds in but I would like to bind it if the dps loss is minor.

you should not try to replicate a unitframe with a weakaura

you're fine to make a Weakaura that tells you all the information within your unit frame, that's fine. But you cannot do anything else with it, it's only informational

For what it's worth, you can add that functionality to macros if you want.
/script SetLootSpecialization(specID) for loot spec
/script LeaveParty() to leave group

Etc.

But it's a hassle, unit frames are nice

Those two were just examples, really just right click your frame and if you ever want access to anything under there, you'd have to have a macro for every thing.

I think only thing that actually matters is having one of the DPS's be DH for the big frontload aoe sicne we are more prio and backloaded
