That would be fine up to 7 targets, but you could do 6 targets in 2 garrotes, or 9 in 3, if you are more intentional. It isnt ideal but...it does smart cast

The reasoning is a little complicated, but the most important of them is the difference in combo points on crit (up to 4 vs 3) and it's interaction with Flagellation.
You also have to consider the additional poison application chances. Ambush is not considerably worse or better in any situation, so you aren't losing out on much if you don't use it.

I’d honestly say that the difficulty of shadow dance is overrated. Once you get the reasoning and macro SD and kingsbane together it becomes much easier

Keep bleeds up, maximize your envenom buff uptime, making sure to cast envenom while envenom is still up for the tier set (So ideally during envenom's pandemic window. Don't think about 50%. Do this until you drop your envenom buff because you couldn't refresh in time due to energy/bleed refreshing, then pool to 80% energy and start over again, doing this until KB comes back up and you enter your burst phase again

I do good damage in ST when I do the full opener about 250k but once I start maintaining bleeds and refreshing envenom the damage is bad around 100-120k and that's if I'm lucky and I'm sticking to the target. I try to not cast bleeds below half energy for Sanguine blades and I use shadowdance+kb on cd . I'm using the ST talents from the guide on wowhead. What can I do better?

Sims are never perfect, you had good dot up time. There seems to be some cases where you used abilities wrong (like a SD without KB after your opener) or not necessarily pooling? I’d also run it the wowanalyzer to check on mutilate usages (ignore if it’s angry at 4)

Like as a new player to any class you should reread guides multiple times throughout your own improvement because there are things that you may not understand until you get experience. You don't just read them once and yolo it. Keep doing homework as you improve.

I just got like the best rng ever lol I opened up on the 5 target dummies to warm up for my first key and at the end of my ramp i was doing 1.3 million dps.
i usually do like 700-800k on them
