there is drake, whelpling,whyrm and aspects

you get fragments of one of the rarities depending on the content difficultly

you usually egt then in quantities bigger than one

15 of the fragments can be combined to create a crest

if you are fairly new, you migth want to get a wyrm's crest to get a reasonable item level on your craft

you can ofc just craft it without this optional regent

you can in this case re-craft it later, for some amount of resources and add the above

aspect is probably hard to reach if you jsut start out

just to confuse you more, one of the embellishments (toxic armor patch) is also an additional regent like this

embellishments are basically items with either special effects, like the toxic or slime explosive boots

or effects you can add as a optional regent

you can ware a maximum of two of such items at the time

in contrast to crafted items, you can have as many crafted items as you can wear

you don't want to craft more than one dagger usually

the reson dagger crafts are good is because of item level

you basically get a lot of weapon dps to your main hand

the off hand slot is reduced in impact so it isn't that relevant

the special effects from embellishments are the thing you rly want

so if you have 3 sparks crafting a weapon and the two damage embellishments is usually the strongest starting point
