In order for it to be “not that bad” you have to be able to compare it other things though. And out of all the specs in the game, Assassination is one of the lowest on that list. In AoE the dps gain from pi is comparable to prot warrior and vengeance dh. It’s better than the other two rogue specs for sure, but the other two rogue specs are the worst targets in the game for an aoe pi so idk if that’s saying much. I just don’t know what measure you’re using to claim it’s not that bad

which like yeah it's damage

but it's not anything impressive compared to speeding up a caster front to back in their windows

like PI on a uhdk, and it's literally all their damage in army going faster, and their gcd, and their runes and all that

PI on a warlock, they're casting way faster

we simply don't have the vectors to ramp the quick surge of haste the same way they do
