Tell me if I am reading into this wrong, but if Garrote gets an extra 50% damage from being applied from stealth, and deathmark doubles the damage from bleeds while its up, then that means that not lining them up, and instead extending the duration of stealth garrote by delaying and offsyncing would only work if delaying it also meant you kept up at least 50% uptime of the stealthed garrote in deathmark.

Which means that if Deathmark lasts 16 seconds, that a vanished garrote must be applied with 8 seconds of casting Deathmark for any delay to have been worth the extension, and since you at best are extending from 16 seconds to 23.3, you just gained 7.3 seconds at max of a buffed garrote, that yields the exact same damage as just lining up garrote with Deathmark in the first place.

Basically, I see zero value in offsyncing vanish and deathmark (plus it's slightly harder to manage).

I guess the idea is that since your first garrote is already buffed, you gain the extension on the first garrote and get 100% uptime of buffed Garrote during the first Deathmark, which naturally offsets your vanish with it, but unless you lose a deathmark at the end of the fight, I would think that delaying your second deathmark with vanish would be the best way to handle the rest of them.

it took you a while, but you got there at the end. Sims have variance on top of that so any holding for casts ends up wasting a cast every 30 pulls or whatever, which contributes to the total

for most people realistically, yeah sync them

but if you don't know the kill time, it's better to just send it and not risk shit
