very marginal like i said and yes playing better will always be better than maximizing opener but if you exang and ur garrote lets say 8 seconds long ud miss out on 2 seconds by boxing that and than u death mark so u have 2 5 second garrote as oppossed to 2 8 second ones idealy if your not dodging a mechanic and just unloading that extra 3 seconds would add up on the meters

yea i mean i also do it because raid mechanics will eventually force you to dodge and if ur boxing at a bad moment than the entire opener will be scuffed so i usually open than box when i know i can and than once everythings up if you got a reapllied ER rupture and reapllied stealth garrote u should ideally have 12-13 seconds on garrote exang 22 ish on the empowered rupture and u wait out the bleed so every second of the exang dot counts if you re aplly with like less than a second left its prob a small dps loss not so much to worry but the idea is to almost have a full box exang window iand i felt it was easier to box first rather than open and than box and if you get a mechanic to dodge u fuck the opener because ur boxing during a dps window

But don't pick anything from the vault

And when the officers go through the loot and the items, they take into account what people have in their vaults

Taking items from the vault before reclearing is pretty int especially in higher rated guilds

The vault is pretty much the last place you loot

You do heroics (and normals), then you reclear mythic up to the point that you got to, then you take the item from vault

So instead of you taking a tier piece from vault, you can get it from the raid and then rather take something else from the vault to avoid duplicates

Our DH for example crafted a second weapon because he was tilted he couldn't loot one from m+ then 2 hours later we got 2 warglaives from Dathea, meaning that he wasted the spark entirely.

well I think you misunderstood exsanguinate way more than that, because if you understood how exsanguinate works you would know that it does the same amount of damage in less time. So by casting Deathmark->exsang, you didn’t increase deathmark’s damage at all, and only hurt the duplication in the process

So even if Deathmark did a billion damage on its own on the bleed

Exsanguinate wouldn’t actually help you at all

Hey peeps. I've really got nothing of value to add here, I just lurk frequently - but I just want to thank everyone who asks questions, even though it drives Whispyr crazy sometimes, and those who answer them, Whispyr chief among them.

If I can contribute in any fun way though, I will say that if you have Glyph of Disguise macro'd to your opening spell (Garrote for me, for example) you can steal humanoids' disguises in-combat as well. Works most of the time, but not always.

I also love Dragonflight Assassination.

Generally I wouldn't advice going kb, but it depends on setup and how seriously you take the keys.

Ambush is currently only used with non-venthyr builds using subterfuge
The reasoning is a little complicated, but the most important of them is the difference in combo points on crit (up to 4 vs 3) and it's interaction with Flagellation.
You also have to consider the additional poison application chances. Ambush is not considerably worse or better in any situation, so you aren't losing out on much if you don't use it.

Grieftorch is only a 2 second cast so it shouldn't really impact on any pandemic. As long as nothing is going to drop in that 2 seconds (or the globals you'd need to refresh) you should be fine to send it on CD
