Seems to me that we have been saying a lot that it's too good at its position. They should put it in the place of tiny toxic blade which is very high on the tree and sucks/ultra boring.
Imo just nuke that spell into orbit and let's all forget it's existence.

As for the ST part, I hope this does not put assa in a situation where we have other specs/class (looking at you outlaw) where they just do nearly as much St and a lot more aoe/cleave

as for the ST part, idk why everybody is insta-dooming. we still sim higher than 90% of DPS classes in the game, and contrary to popular belief, our cleave aint that bad.

I think we agree on the effect that exsang has on assa rotation. However, the talent is here and during alpha/beta Realz stated several times that he wanted it to stay in the game. So since we have it in the game, if it is too powerful at its position then the 2 possible options are either to move it down the tree and put w/e nerf deemed necessary for it.
However making it a 3 mins CD just make it even less "fun" of a talent for the exsang enjoyers (which I'm not a part of). I would argue that they should have kept it at 45sec/1min and hard nerf even more the bleed compression time.

in any case - you also wanna keep in mind that the small edge it still has over alternative talents is with perfect usage. if an encounter forces some downtime or you wont be able to use exsang to its fullest extent the entire fight, odds are you might be better off not playing it at all - which is kinda the point. diversity, not just within the spec by allowing more talents, but by also bringing it closer in line with the other 2 specs so rogues can once again play whichever spec they like without feeling like theyre trolling their raid.

Part of taking an active spell and the fun part of it is actually pressing it to me. So if the talent has to stay on this row and for balance purposes it has to be 15% compression, so be it. The whole discussion is that it's too strong so it has to not be meaningful damage wise one way or another.
It will reduce a lot of burst damage/energy regen in the DM window for the opener so maybe it would be a bit more than the 10-15% you mentioned.

yeah i mean, im not entirely unbiased in this conversation. ive hated exsang ever since it was introduced, and back then it had 400% compression for a while. i just dont like the talent, never have, so seeing it get the treatment it deserved, and done in an elegant way that does not affect builds, rotational gameplay, or upsets the overall class tuning rankings, is pretty damn great.

I think the reason why I want to be broken is cause I was completely shut out of mythic + by the end of the last expansion when I had been pushing mythic+ every day since the beginning of the expansion. It just wasn't fun to see my friends amazing outlaw rogue just doing tons of damage more then me after he had just done that with destro warlock the previous tier.

Umm. I had to drill holes in my roof and wall but they sell you a kit that has everything for that. I was kinda nervous about it but it really went pretty smoothly. As far as getting connected and everything the dish pretty much sets itself up.
