You can tell a lot from doing the rotation on dummies in dornogal. Not much else going on right now Prepatch.

You can also get a feel for the spec doing the prepatch event rare killing.

I can tell you right now that Outlaw is hardly ever favorable on mythic progression

if that's what you're going for

There are people that make it work cause they are good

and there are some tiers where it doesnt really matter a whole lot

but it's an uphill battle every time

As we near Midnight early launch I think I want to condense down my thoughts on all three specs:

Outlaw Rogue: Thematically it is now starting to coalesce around a proper identity of a mix between a blade dancer and short range pistol duelist. The power of Crackshot talent was redistrubted now evenly between BTE, Dispatch and melee auto attacks instead of TWW design with the weight being all in Crackshot windows. Outlaw is more balanced out of stealth now but like any other Rogues can still use stealth when needed. Talent wise the spec talent tree is I think now better than both Assassination and Sub because it does not feel as restrictive at the top or bottom of the tree and thematically you can see how the RTB talents, BTE talents, Ambush/Sinister Strike talents, and and BF talents are aligned in the tree for specific purpose. Only complaint from my view is that Outlaw is too squishy compared to Assassination and Sub given it does most of its fighting out of stealth. Outlaw like Sub is now easier for new players to engage however, RTB may still trip new and returning players up as well as how BTE damage ramp stacking functions. Outlaw cap stones do feel under powered compared to Assassination and Sub though.

Gotta admit, the thing I enjoyed most as a QOL feature with Outlaw was the high Versatility. That let me survive so many solo encounters with Delves and almost always ensured I was one of the last men standing for a mythic raid prog kill.
