I believe that, atleast on MofM, its because of the way you present your templates, they don't look good compared to the others even if the tmog is good

believe it or not, good presentation makes wonders

My main complaint about the format is that there's too much vertical space and not a lot of horizontal space, so having room for poses where weapons are held in a more broad way is difficult to work around. If the frame were slimmer and opened for more room to display the character, maybe it wouldn't be a problem. But other people display theirs fine, I have no doubt I can improve mine

I think the issue with dyable armor is the games reward structure for transmog is sort of designed around other difficulties offering different colors

It keeps the other difficulties relevant, even if it is annoying

but they get 50% off transmogs + a little on theme shadow damage passive
and spatial rift is really, really cool if you ever remember that it's a thing
