I at least think this way:

• Its fine if you full-set, "boring", yes. But if you like it you like it. The 4 or more pieces of the same set rule = is probably explained in the pins but TLDR it follows the PvE bonus set where you need 4 pieces to have full advantage of the whole tier.
  I've tested it myself, and working with 4 pieces (that are not wrist or headpiece) makes tmoging really easy, but anyone would say "yeah, that's X set without this Y and Z pieces.
  Meanwhile with max 3 pieces, you can definitely work around something "new" and fresh. But that was me testing the system, you might find a different approach.

i think its fine to have a guideline like that, and i normally like to follow it as well, but ive also had plenty of situations where attempting to avoid using 4 pieces just ends up with you making a set thats worse than what you couldve possibly done

I'll give you a TLDR:
Using 4 or more pieces from the same set, here in Ravenholdt, is considered a Full-set. The most active players try to work around this rule and mix and match only to a max of 3 pieces from a set.
You using a full set isn't a problem, I use them as well sometimes, but everytime i try to create something "original", I and many others use the rule i just mentioned!
