Let me translate what royal said: when you use a picture that is so dark it's hard to rate the MOG for a couple of reasons. For example

• It's hard to distinguish the items used
• The lighting can create a "false" idea of the items actually working together

if you want a mog to be rated for the MOG itself you could use the addon royal mentioned or the wow head dressing room. If you just want to share an ambience picture, that's fine as well 👍🏻

@restive shoreI'm not getting into the colours or anything, the reason why the headpiece looks out of place is because of the proportions of the character model and the shoulders especially. Female nightelf models have relatively slim shoulder models compared to the male counterpart and to most other races. If you use a head piece that is very tall, it will literally stick out and be disproportionate. In addition to that the shoulders used feature a very low angle, further enhancing the tallness of the headpiece. Possible solutions are different shoulders, different body type, different race or any combination. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk

Belt/weapons/helmet can work together as a combo, from there i would try to find a purple/black leg slot which can make the tabard work. The metal colours on the gloves/shoulders/boots kind of clash with the rest of the mog, so those need replacement. These all depend on what kind of leg slot you are going to use. while I like the pants with the seafarer belt, i think a big problem to work with is that the unchained glad pants have this big birch bark element at the bottom. Two ways to work with that

1. change the pants as you did
2. find boots that either work with the bottom part of the pants and don't clash with the rest of the mog or
3. find boots that work with the rest of the mog despite not being a perfect flow match

Yep, your solutions are exactly what i did today morning. 100%
Vicious gladiator (blueish set) pants work well aswell, but in order to make them work i need almost barefoot boots or vicious gladiator boots aswell, and the blue mark on the boots makes them not work with the rest of the darkish goldish theme. I almost found my perfect tmog, yet 1 pair of boots are keeping me off 😦
