We proc shadow techniques periodically which gives energy and stores a combo point.

With that great talent, we can use 7 stored shadow techniques periodically to fill points.

The talent allows us to store an additional point and increases the proc chance during symbols a little which smooths out energy.

if you hit a dummy for a bunch of time and check your buffs, you'll see that you have "stored" combo points

when you use an attack that generates combo points, let's say backstab, instead of generating one, you'll generate 1 + the amount you have stored, up to 7

with shadowcraft, when symbols is active, this passive effect generating combo points (and energy) happens more often. most importantly, you can get a refill on your combo points after finishers instead of being able to "spend" these extra cps only with generators IF you have at least 7 stored, which allows you to use two finishers in a row during your burst phase

Hello guys 👋 I'm a bit new to rogue and I wanted to try to get the 1800 set with outlaw on solo. I would love some general gameplay tips from the grizzled veterans if you're not too busy.

1. Should I bother with stealth or just go all in? The spec feels like a brawler to me at least
2. What do the blue combo points do? I'm not sure I understood the supercharge talent
3. When fighting people I've noticed my single target damage is very low while aoe is fine using flurry. Is that normal or am I missing something? My gear has some mastery I'll get rid of and it's the solo shuffle build.

1. you only do damage in stealth assuming youre outlaw which I am because of your color.
2. The blue combo points are just there to tell you how many stacks of supercharger you have. Each cahrge adds an additional 3 CP to any spender. For example 5 regular CPS and then + 3 from supercharger.
3. Outlaw ST is a little lacking outside of the Ghostly Strike/Killing Spree combo. Just remember to use 5+ Combo points in stealth and 6/7 out of stealth.

you have to play to the strength of the other dps

if you aren't utilizing them properly you will be doing like 1/4th the dmg of everyone else

make sure you read all the talents you're using
