It shares the lack of mobility and survivability that sub suffers from, however the subterfuge change makes it possible to actually apply silence to all enemy team much easier, or use cheap/silence to control a healer for the kill.
The damage is there, but you have to hide when targetted and let your bleeds and team mate to do the work

Numbers wise it doesn’t make sense. You get more envenom/crimsom/rupture damage with deeper strat than you get forcing the first hit of KB to crit. I guess I could see it for some cheesey crits when the enemy is low
