download these two addons. Ultra lightweight, and prevent your UI from getting locked and needing to constantly reload. Everyone should be running these, but especially when using OmniBar because it throws errors often

you will have this green bag icon on your mini map

when you do get an error, the bad will turn red, and a high pitch bug-like voice queue will say "fatality"

you can then hover over the bag icon and see what threw the error if you care, but otherwise just reload at some later point when you aren't doing anything important

I also have VG gloves, but replaced them with a hellbloom piece temporarily so that I get the set bonus. Should I use two catalysts to make VG's chest/pants into the tier set?

I also don't have infurious footwraps yet, but I could craft them and I have the 489 token thing ready, so maybe I buy another hellbloom piece and do that? Or catalyze 2 pieces for the tier set?

If I use the boots, I can't get the 2/2 tier and 6/6 hellboom, though

What are your guys opinions of swapping out a gear with mastery for haste? I have an addon I got today that a friend recomended to me and its called true value stats. That addon showed me way over cap than I thought and if I swap one piece of mastery out for haste I will still be over mastery cap but only by 84. I am basically with the penalty losing the benefit of 190 mastery right now with current gear.

Reason I am also asking is cause I was going to do it with a crafting piece

This is how I understand it, could be wrong. I think pve dudes must have studied it more.
Garrote for example is a skill that adds bleed for 18 seconds with 2 seconds interval between tiks, that means we will have 9 tiks in total for 1 single cast of garrote. So if your haste doesn’t get you 10 tiks within 18 seconds, like a 1/9 haste, it literally adds no value

Because when you cast another garrote it’s a fresh 18 seconds and a fresh 9 tiks

A 7 CB rupture is 32 seconds bleed with 2 seconds internal, 16 tiks. so even 1/16 haste, which is like 6% can give you one more tik. However this value is still low and given most sin rogue doesn’t play echo anymore, 5 cb rupture is only 24 seconds and 12 tiks, haste has no value below like 8.3%

And we have 1 sec GCD, haste doesn’t improve it like other classes…

Guess that’s primary reason why haste doesn’t seem to add much value to rogue pvp

I can sort of understand if you're behind, botting battlegrounds get gear. When you start late in a season, everyone has more gear than you and you just instant-die to everyone in a BG since gear matters so much. It's not engaging, it's not fun, and it has nothing to do with skill. You just die repeatedly until you can buy the gear. So I understand botting through that slog.

Once you have the gear to put you on an even playing field with opponents, though, I absolutely will never understand people who bot in competitive PvP. Like, what on earth is the point? The whole point of PvP is to test your skills against other humans and compare yourself to them. If you're botting, all you're doing is griefing everyone involved, yet you're also not enriching your own skill set, nor are you putting yourself to the test

and SBS uptime and contribution to lethal dose

I was using sepsis for a while to get easier kill setups. (I'm playing without dance) so I would use it to get that empowered garrot or cheap

Nah but it gives my go that extra bit of damage, and it takes advantage of the Lethal Dose like bone spike does

I usually run it when I feel like I can kill the kill target in the first go

druid has balance which is B tier and shaman has Ele which is also B

priest is the only worse dps class with shadow priest being in D tier

After playing unholy a little this season, I can say it definitely feels better than rogue. Imo

rogue needs too much skill

unless u're already very high rating

u're better off with other easier specs

it's like annie vs riven in league

annie needs no effort to be very successful

while riven needs a shit ton of effort to be moderately successful

unless u are super high rank it makes no sense to spend so much effort on a class

when u could spend a third of the effort on warrior or dh

and get twice the reward

No other class like rogue though where you can outplay people, easily 2v1, lock down an entire team. There is just so many fun things to do as rogue, stealth is the best mechanic in the game. The reward is playing the best class in the game and if you can play well on rogue you just shine
