So I feel like this isnt the same case as a weaker immolate etc etc cuz it feels quite strong, but itâs also like you have to have 2 seals AND draw them both in the same pack
I feel like I would like this card more if it was a joker you sold instead
Sell this card to swap the seals of 2 selected cards
I thought this at one point but just thought it didn't really make sense since, you know, that would make it a consumable
Cola is kind of like a consumable in a way but it feels like that makes sense
You would only really use this tarot once or twice

Idk how well âOnly âblankâ is âblankââ really holds up, especially after seeing how Sibyl Deck panned out in practice, but it was just an idea I had and thought it would be cool to suggest
there should be a tarot card like strength but instead of strength it should be weakness and lowers the card by one
New Joker:
Nein (Uncommon, unsure on price): In PvP Blind, each scored 9 debuffs your opponent's highest rank undebuffed card held in hand. (Unaffected by retriggers)
This doesn't really matter unless on anaglyph cause it just means my aces will be debuffed also i can just stall and let you play your 9 when i have a bad hand, lastly its anoying to change the order of your kings and stuff constantly during pvp somthing which you will have to do

Was mostly intending for it to snipe good face cards but it deciding to go after aces instead would definitely hurt its viability yea
The way most card treat thr highest is the highest rank but for ties it looks at leftmost card

I dont really like it. If its a tarot its too many rare jokers for me. If its a spectral, there is a chance you will see just one of it in the run, and that poses a big problem. Suppose your opponent uses it and you get a joker. Then you know not to use it whenever you see it (it doesnt really matter if its one in the run or more, its rare enough that one player can potentially see an extra rare joker for a game-winning time)
I made a ticket for one and then one of them shut it down:
add the option to play as many cards that are in your hand for april fools as a deck

Thatâs right, whenever anyone buys this card, the game pauses for ten minutes. That way, if your wife needs you, or you need your wife, you can stop to make love to her and then proceed the game as normal.
See, I have my amazing dual-breasted wife, but I canât make love to her when I play Balatro Multiplayer!!! And I get sad!!! So, I need this Joker added. What do you all think?

I had an idea based on some discussions about Magnet and a mechanic I feel might be interesting:
Primer: after held for 1 round you may sell this joker to lose all but 1 life, reset the shop queue.
The idea is that if you reach a certain point where regret about a ship choice is the overwhelming concern then Primer (a rare joker) would allow you to hit the reset button and possibly reach to that baron that came after you sold mime in ante 3, or take that first shop idol or collect all the suns you saw along the way. Idk how feasible it is with the mods codebase though.
So Primer itself may be very overpowered but I don't see any mechanic that it creates that forces you to take it as there is always surprise upside in the remaining shop queue. Possibly a downside would be something like round 1 blue print round 2 primer repeat forcing an early game dominated by Primer but we already have that with idol/bloodstone/ancient and the variations it creates may be interesting.

Throwback is a pretty useless joker in multiplayer. What would hurt buffing it to +.5x/0.75x instead of +.25x? I doubt it would turn seeds into skip off seeds, but I don't know

You never know, maybe it can be a good alternative for xmult jokers that don't show up early, plus gives synergy with skip off

I think if we wanna do changes for a season to shake up the meta we could, like ban idol for one season so it doesn't feel like "too punishing" on the card if that makes sense...

I wanna do a joker for my mod (and hopefully suggest getting it in BMP) around the effects of the Dwarf planets. The good thing about them is that they are the most popular in multiplayer (Pluto for High card, Ceres for Flush house and Eris for Flush Five), and them being the only dwarf planets in the base game brings the pure math of multiplayer deck-building into flavour. Here are some ideas I have for the joker, and if yall have ideas I wanna hear them out: (1) Using a Dwarven Planet consumable upgrades all Dwarven Planets, (2) All hands relating Dwarven Planets will have their level the highest Dwarven Planet level. Here is the sprite I've made as well:
if it had a multiplayer effect, maybe "when nemesis plays one of these hands"
I was thinking today for a multiplayer effect something in the line "At beginning of PvP, 1 in 4 for nemesis asteroid to miss, 1 in 2 if the planet is a Dwarf planet"

Multiplayer Joker: Jackpot, Rare, If you have equal or more seven's in your deck, all cards with a probability will retrigger once. Shows how many sevens you are down or up. I actually think it should be a voucher that allows the player with more sevens to have all random card jokers to pick the card that you have the most in the deck
Multiplayer joker: didnât think of a name or rarity, but Iâd assume atleast uncommon.

I actually really like this idea. It gives niche value to sevens, but i feel like the upside isnt really good enough - only 3(maybe wrong but i think just rebate idol castle) jokers pick a card so u might never see those
And castle is a shitter
I'd include ancient and other cards that rely on randomness but aren't reliant on what cards you have in your deck

What I think might be a compromise is instead of making it give you a spectral card it gives you 2 random tarot's if you reach the pvp blind before your opponent.

It would give you one of the stronger Tarot's. So if you get to the PvP blind fist you are randomly given one of these: Death, Fool, Justice, Hangman, chariot.

If you reach the PvP blind before your opponent you get to pick any ONE tarot of your choice.

It Could hold only half of current HP, rounded down.
EX: Bean 4/5(out of PvP) but when in PvP it would go to 2/5(in PvP). Then the next round out of PvP it would go back to (4/5 -1/5 for the round so) 3/5. -
You get the full effect of Bean in PVP but it would only be for the first 2 hands/discards.

It would just draw for the remaining HP then it would do nothing. So your hand size at the start would be 13/8 in PvP if you had a 5/5 Bean.
[Seltzer] idea(s)
- Seltzer would stay it's original 10/10 hands and tick down each round. But during a PvP blind it would only trigger the first 3 cards of each hand rather then retriggering the whole hand. Then in non PvP blinds it would act as normal.
It giving justice would make it even more broken than spectrals

Maybe not but like this being the only way to get justice is bad
I think with the reworked and nurfed justice it wouldn't be to bad. Assuming that they keep the change to allows you to get justice as a tarot you can get normally through shops.
i think speedrun could just be deleted and bean could give +3 for one pvp blind then get deleted and seltzer could do it for 2 pvp blinds before deletion, i do think seltzer could just retrigger the first 3 cards still

Why would we turn bean into a juggle skip tag, also when ppl wanted a rework to the food jokers, they were mostly talking about seltzer since it was less of a no skill item, so having seltzer stay for 2 blinds does not fix the problem

i think for bean the problem is the order, so making it not count down until you hit the pvp blind should fix things

I think a good seltzer rework would be if it counted down for every card played instead of every hand. This wouldnât fix anything but I think it would be pretty fun!!

this is interesting but idk how well it work because the ability to choose what cards to have your glass on is also powerful
if you get a red seal and a glass from a pack, you can only choose one to really build into, but if you can make your red seal glass it inflates the scoring of the seed and makes games more formulaic
i like this idea though but idk how you would get around the aforementioned problem
familiar grim and incant can kind of already do this but its too inconsistent so i usually dont pick them up
then make it apply glass to one random card in hand
rabdom card in hand can lead to silly things like having 6 red seals in hand and still missing

It could be called stock crash/panic sell (with a stock themed background), the idea being the person who sold it crashed the stock market hilariously - it could be cool to have it give the $25 when bought and then when sold, that effect activates at the end of pvp, but no joker works like that rn so idk if that means it's bad to base it around that, rn your suggestion works similar to cola and pizza which is good

Basically boss blind jokers will be offered as pack at the end of pvp blind, last until the end of next pvp, and have the effect of the respective boss effect to the opp

I think this is a good deterrent to blindly deck fixing for hearts
I think it will mainly be used from the collection, just like skip off

I think this is a good deterrent to picking up bloodstone

Can we make bloodstone more competitive by making the pvp queue for it be per hand instead of per trigger? Meaning if you and your opponent play a hearts flush on the last hand, the same bloodstone triggers happen, regardless of how many hearts were scored before in the pvp. I'm surprised it doesn't already work like this (according to the spreadsheet listing multiplayer changes).
