pong gives you the prompt if you have two of a kind and ANYONE places the third you need, you are ONLY given the option when they place the tile down, not at any point during the round, i have had a few rounds where i claimed a tile from the person to my right

scoring in nte mahjong is simply just "did you self draw a tile to get what you needed or did you claim it from someone else", youll notice that if you kong or tsumo you steal points from everyone at the table, rather than konging a specific person/roning a specific person you get less

the game continues after you win instead of riichi mahjong standard of once you win you sit out the rest of the round, once you hit the "win" or ron/tsumo, you are LOCKED IN to your hand and can only claim tiles that you need that complete the last set you need, so once you hit "win" its not actually winning the round
making sure you have a hand that has a lot of tiles people can discard that you can claim as ron is amazing for building scoring, this button here when you are one tile away from winning shows you what tiles you need to win, and how many are still in play/arent discarded yet
