A while back. A few players noticed a very odd behaviour with the item Minus Claus. It was thought to be "dead" as we call it. Essentially, unable to combine with anything. But, it doesn't have any characteristic about it that would make it dead. Upon further investigation, only one single item worked with it : Water. Which gave Santa as a reply. A few more elements exerting this behaviour were found later, which i will list later on in the thread. This what we called Minus Clauses, or Zombie Elements (them being half-dead and all).

Recently, @⍨ @glowytimee alongside others (i think?) crafted some known zombie elements using different recipes, and got FD on them, despite them existing for a long time. And now, said elements work perfectly fine!

We are no strangers to fixing elements by creating a valid copy. This is even a common strategy called reviving, or less commonly (and jokingly), necromancy, where we for example create a correctly capitalized version of an item to allow an incorrect capitalization to work.

But this is different, since the items weren't actually dead. And, to understand how the game works, and to maybe fix it for later issues, i am making this post to ask if you could look into it a little!"
