tell me then what should I try?
well of course i have no idea, but i have far far less of an idea for anything you have
hm.. yeah ig so. for example the period route that worked for me was to get "race" then "athlete" then "1st" and "first" then I had "sentence"/"alphabet" from earlier and so you get individual letters. and then with letter appending you get "end" and from that you combine with "syntax"/"sentence" stuff and get "period"
i dont think a single one of those steps is remotely straightforward, but what do i know im still stuck at original
well I looked at infinibrowser's recipes for dot and saw that some require "end" so I wanted to get that from "race", but it didn't give anything like "start"/"end" for some reason. but it gave me 1st. so I used that. for example I tried to make "dot" from "morse" and "braille", but that didn't work.
wait are those characters or brackets?
Brackets
you can be abused
imagine this: { "earth", "universe" } + { "er", "re" } = { "earth", "reverse" } 🥲
I like the 🤯
What do you mean
you were Queen Victoria
Got New String[]×7 {
why are we making 7d arrays
Fun
What if we wanted to represent all SI units huh?
dimensionism be like
By the way can we make actual 7d array with this
token cutoff probably says no
token limit
Rip
you can make a 19d array at max
empty?
yea
T'would be no closing brace no?
just 19 [ and 19 ]
Ah
That's 19 tokens Mr. Square
got this some time ago. it probably tried making a (high number)D array
yea
cuz it adds 2 tokens at once
was thinking that but got confused since you said it worked
i got confused by laurAsia
Brent should go Ping every mod
not again
Why'd...
This feels like an insult but I'm not sure exactly how
you see i don't type well on phone
I get this all the time
Rubiks, you have something like [ "r" "_" "g" ] right?
reverse
Me when I pull out Arraycraft spelling methods
maybe i just admit defeat and catch up, is any of this followable from somewhere or maybe i just go back to the initial stuff you sent
it is not followable, I didn't even share a lineage for any of the elements there. the only followable stuff are the lineages I sent
but I feel like it'd be better if like someone optimised those / ran all up to 10 steps or smth. Or like making infinibrowser for it. Because the lineages are just so long.
I see
useful!
base or constructed?
base
Nice
if theres a way to get (4 base elements) and [4 base elements] maybe this would be a thing
is [alphabet] good for normal combinations
like AWWM
havent tested it but im just thinking maybe this could work similarly to arraycraft
got append
No
how?
human app+human end
dontknow
thx
and these two are useful
ooh I got "app", "end"
so they work?
i have some reverse but they didn't seem to do anything useful
#1250657901106696232
Sus +2 maybe
already found
i only have end app
for (alphabet)
and this how
"computer", "app" + "computer", "end"
thx
I have also "and", "end"
i have this now
it is just "human", "append" + "pre", "rep"
do you have opposite
no
it is not as useful as i thought
hmm prefix and suffix
this made replace
the replace replaces the first element it seems like (if it is a single character)
but not always
idk
i think you can easily get the rest of "(letter)", "prepend/append" with "(letter)", "replace" + "(char)", "append/prepend"
doesn't always work, but you will gradually get it
or like this
but I think if it was the other way around it would work much better (like "append/prepend", "xxx")
insane really, um ok wait im busy so will be a while before i can go back to original. wheres the furthest from base thing that you sent? id like to try follow up to there
probably this one. you can make letters of the alphabet if you continue to play with "first", etc.
https://ib.zptr.cc/item/01j57t7xzqb0hdk62syj4z4f45
and this has some recipes for the alphabet and then append, prepend, replace
https://ib.zptr.cc/item/01j57ts8ge2zh34xxqesy1c5mq
wow cool
i was surprised i couldnt get far with original
probably cause i never got literature
or anything like paper
hmm maybe
found the gates
cool
how are these fd...
You added u+300000000000000
Oh wait maybe the ; at the end
indeed
Perchance.
mayhaps
You can't just say "mayhaps"
Peradventure
Perlikelihood
Perperhaps
Banned
breadsjdflad
per be
"well i don't know it could be true"
wow opposite
it was "and", "synonym" + "ant", "ex" but I think you could also make it by combining the alphabet together and with synonym/antonym
ex
I guess playing Array Craft is like playing Infinite Craft but with a character limit of 10 instead of 30 🤔
you can get a long word together with a short one
so like is this just to post what you get combining things with array elements? are there goals?
win
it worked
are there any goals u are aiming for
as in any specific elements u are trying to get
or are u just combining random stuff for fun
atm I want to get "+" in quotation marks. I just got these for it
should be pretty doable. i am only missing "array"
have u gotten any other single characters
yes, I have ".", "$", "%", "#", "@", "€", "£", "¥" and also their fullwidth versions
and also the "alphabet"
most of them I have only in combination with different chars/words though
yes
and unicode
helped
i wonder if getting 002b or u002b or u+002b possible
thats the unicode characters for +
that's why I want the +
for u+xxx?
yes
have u gotten just unicode codepoints but without the +
no
maybe if u somehow found a way to do that, like get 002b/u002b, u could get + that way
but idk how hard that would even be
yeah idk
i want to get "plus", "symbol" and combine it with existing elements that contain single characters to get it
maybe words Character, Codepoint, Letter would help
i don't have codepoint, but yeah
the thing is, it seems to be much harder to create single characters. but maybe that's just because we haven't found a good strategy yet
arent u the only one who is trying to find strats for this lol
yes pretty much me and i've seen segment tree make good progress as well.
{ "array", "craft" } in ArrayCraft
https://ib.zptr.cc/item/01j5tr0xsybrg7gagvqs2ry06k
i challenge you to find a better route
damn
or if anyone would be interested in this challenge: Make the most interesting/advanced/useful element in just 20 steps
👀
equal sign in array craft ??? 🙀
lool I got a non-arraycraft FD
maybe in words. but + - sign hopefully soon
how did u get x- in there, did u use the word hyphen
I wonder what the fastest Array Craft exit to Normal Craft, from only Arrays, is.
like 3-step to Tornado.
Oh?
nice tornado misspelling
would you like to optimize in ArrayCraft?
Oh two step
Volcano
{ "fire", "fire" } + { "wind", "wind" } = { "fire", "wind" }
{ "fire", "wind" } + { "fire", "wind" } = Volcano```
yeah I shared those somewhere in this thread above. it is kinda funny you can do it that quickly
🌊 👑 { "fire", "fire" } + { "wind", "wind" } = { "fire", "wind" } { "fire", "wind" } + { "fire", "wind" } = Volcano { "water", "water" } + Volcano = Island { "water", "water" } + Island = Atlantis { "water", "water" } + Atlantis = Poseidon
oops I shared the wrong ones. these are in the correct order
poseidon%
What's your fastest to "alphabet" as one of the components?
I have 563 step "alphabet", "alphabet"
that is probably the fastest. But I think it is not very optimised. the lineage includes steps from when I was getting killer, bowser with unnecessary recipes because ic browser uses the first recipe used
because there is this recipe "bowser", "life" + "water", "wind" = "fire", "earth", which I found to be I am pretty sure only depth 5
Right
I was thinking about trying to go for "alphabet", but I changed my mind - array craft is awful 💀
Can't even find "river"...
i think that if we did like all 5-step, 6-step etc. elements, we'd see how much slower it is to make stuff compared to normal infinite craft. the thing is noone is really doing this so my recipes just include elements from stuff that I made before and so on and then the lineages just get absurdly long
river is like 4/5 depth
Found "human" before I found "river"
What's your best "human", "human"?
And is it used in "alphabet" at all?
infinibrowser says 28-step but I believe that it is probably like 10-step or below
cause "plant", "human" is 5-depth and "human", "human" = "plan", "human" + "plant", "plant"
it is used
i can share the lineage for alphabet, alphabet if you want
Sure
6-step "human" array ```asciidoc
{ "water", "water" } + { "wind", "wind" } = { "water", "wind" }
{ "earth", "earth" } + { "water", "wind" } = { "plant", "dust" }
{ "plant", "dust" } + { "wind", "wind" } = { "dust", "dust" }
{ "dust", "dust" } + { "water", "water" } = { "mud", "mud" }
{ "fire", "fire" } + { "mud", "mud" } = { "clay", "clay" }
{ "clay", "clay" } + { "plant", "dust" } = { "human", "human" } // 6
Thanks
Are you doing Arraycraft set theory
Hmm, seems like Egypt and China/Japan are the essentials to your alphabet
Nice
yea
And cut write
this is the other pretty "low step" alphabet that I have
I think that desk, office is also pretty useful #1269983949086654484 message
Looks like it
this behaviour is weird
Surprised you had found sea, but not ocean
11-step ocean```asciidoc
{ "water", "water" } + { "wind", "wind" } = { "water", "wind" }
{ "earth", "earth" } + { "water", "wind" } = { "plant", "dust" }

{ "human", "god" } + { "water", "water" } = { "poseidon", "neptune" }

string.appends in arraycraft when ??
"string", "append", "a"
Not any fault of your own of course but these speedrun lineages look atrocious
you could use the notation 2{ “hieroglyph” } etc.
I could, but it would be too much effort, considering there are mixed arrays as well
I don't think that would look any better 🤷♂️
I agree, it looks atrocious, and not only that, it plays atrocious too, because the screen gets filled quickly with big elements - not to mention you reach the discord character limit very quickly too. Atriocious Craft 👍
I want to find a good alphabet though
Then I'll abandon it
okay how about this notation then
Arraytrocious Craft
accidentally resized my sidebar 💀
Finally something related to alphabet...
{ "greek", "hieroglyphics" } + { "ink", "paper" } = { "alphabet", "writing" }
I was about to take a break
Oh damn, I found something very good
{"something", "very", "good"} when
This is neat
smh stealing other peoples lines
Uh
Illuminating
No that sucks
Anyway Ventus Anemos looks like Venting Amogus okay goodbye
Sub 40 alphabet array incoming
there is also a revived "smoke Signal" very low depth, if you search for it
awesome!
IB lineage for alphabet array, a bit easier on the eyes:

codepoint
{ “from”, “codepoint” } might really open up the door to unicode stuff
because Fromcodepoint is actual unicode tech
interesting
damn I still left my save at original lol
Been short on time to work on it
or { "string", "fromcodepoint" }
exactly 30 chars
sorry to ask, is there any chance you can try to connect up your normal save more? ik thats hard cause i dont actually know how to get the code to say what recipes it needs lol
actually no never mind i can do that
but i cant make it say what the stuff thats relevant is
you could like go through all recipes in infinibrowser's database in the order of their depth (eg. Water + Water would be first, etc.) and then if the final element has a different recipe, you'd just add it at the start of its recipe list (or maybe at the end so that you could still know how YOU made it, not sure). This way you could optimise all elements in your savefile (all that are in infinibrowser).
hm... ok it is not that easy actually. because you could not even have both ingredients required for it
easiest is to list all elements with no recipe
that should be the "root" of the problem
yeah, but you don't want to accidentally create loops, then that wouldn't really fix the problems
wdym
forced loops
oh right
like all paths to create a given element, would always lead to the same element being required in one of its recipes
yeah true hmm
but if you went from depth 1 - to depth idk then you would ensure there are no forced loops
but yeah, if you don't have one of the ingredients, then that becomes a problem
ig you'd need to make an algorithm that would assign them the depth. it would skip the elements that you don't have. but i suspect that it would take a pretty long time because each savefile is unique so you'd have to calculate it always again (but maybe there is a way of saving some stuff so that you wouldn't have to calculate as much)
but if you want to see my savefile and at least kinda fix it so that your program works well with it, I can send it over.
im not sure how browser does yeah, but if theres loops then theres actually no way to assign a depth at all
for your save since it doesnt get far you can print exported["gens"]
and it will list everything it could make
and then you can use that to make the things that cant be found
haha this one is so funny and effective
ha
i wonder if I can combine this with alphabet to get it with acute etc
wdym by everything it could make? doesn't it already go through everything that it can make? or what exactly are exported["gens"]?
exported["gens"] is a dictionary containing everything it could make sorted by generation
since theres only 1k things in it it is printable
if you use things in there then you cant make loops
I just got U+222a. also the game is trolling me and gave me "to", "codepoint" instead of "from"
also I wonder if this behaviour is the same in base game. Has anyone ever made To Codepoint or From Codepoint?
or maybe it is the "and", "union" element, because this is the second time it gave characters
if exported["gens"] is all it could make (from my savefile) sorted by gens, and it couldn't make anything else from those (or at least that is what I think) in my savefile. so if I export those elements, how exactly did you mean to use them? using them to continue calculating generations won't work because it couldn't make anything from them
i meant to fix the save
it tells you what youre allowed to use in order to prevent loops
ooh right
now that wont be a lot, but i suspect there will be one element where you just need to make one recipe for and it will unlock most of your save
i dont know how to tell you what that element is though
hm... I could also "start from scratch" and use only elements that I have on the board. I would start with the 4 base
and then I would make advanced stuff from that
to hopefully fix it
or just make a new savefile and then merge them
well starting from scratch is a bit restrictive
you could use those 4 base or you could use the 1000 base
your choice
but yeah even if we merged my save and yours all your controls will still be cut off
wdym 1000 base? like all depth 3/4
also I have an old savefile so I could just fix all elements in there
oh right
those are effectively base elements for the purposes of fixing the file
now I understand what you meant
just in case theres something like idk string.append in there
my first savefile is 2.5 kb and if I merged it with the exported["gens"] elements, and fix the old one, then merge with my current, it would fix it
hm... ok 2.5 kb is like 6k elements...
would it fix it?
if so then go for it
although it wouldnt fix the pain of the lineages jumping all over but theres so so many tools that are in your control lineages that i want so bad
but they are cut off D:
Mr. Remove(), unstring.append, etc etc
i happen to need those to make the controls but ignoring that i just want em in general
im hoping the reason theres no recipe for them in the lineage is that browser couldnt find one
huh??
oh they are missing from the lineage that I provided?
yeah
: (
recipe for mr. remove() is somewhere in string.appends
yeah but the specific removes
right, but Mr. Remove(+) is the main one
its the source of all the trouble
theres recipe for it and i tried to follow back to the first thing that had something i had
except that never came
ok uhm I will send you my savefile until I fix it, so that you can make it ?
i think that infinibrowser just cut them off randomly. because I should have recipes for all elements starting from when "alphabet" was discovered
oh
yeah that is just random
hmm that is weird the recipe isn't in my savefile
i think it is the dementia bug
yeah that also is a problem
i have a file with all recipes that dates back to even before I had helper script. I manually copied recipes to all new elements there. I stopped last week, but it has that recipe
hm.. which userscript fixed that bug again?
nothing
it hasnt been fixed
i think it should have been a priority since it was discovered but apparently not
hm...
btw the main reason I stopped with it last week is because my ctrl button started to stay down on my (plugged in) keyboard, so yeah.
this game.... why can't it give me "to", "japanese" 😭
ok just got it. but seriously? I get all of those above before that one
ah.. sadly it seems to make stuff romaji
what strategy did you have to use to get it cause it wasnt letting you
combined it with something that starts with "to", reverse/opposite wouldn't work
but I am actually really glad it gave me "ot", "japanese", because the normal strategy for turning "a", "b" + "b", "c" = "a", "c" doesn't work well with it (or at least with the elements with "to" as the first one that I had).
but I was able to get "ot", "chinese" and other languages. then you need to convert the "ot" into "to". well I have not been able to do it with "russian" so far
but fsr "to", "taiwanese" + "taiwanese", "arabic" = "to", "arabic" worked
but most of the time it doesn't
alternatively you can also try to antonym/opposite "from", "language" -> "to", "language"
my collection so far
backwards. nice
@stark cosmos can i get an infinibrowser recipe for {"to","japanese"} (for japanese cities)
ty
nice
omg you can just combine the あいうえお with the letters above to get all from the set
ok for w it made only わ
tried it with letters that have han/dakuten and it doesn't work as well, so only for the ones without that
ok for p it worked for all except po
what did you combine for these? not sure i get what you said
not even possible, too long
besides if you hypothetically got one you'd mysteriously go missing a day later so its not worth it
{ "k", "k" } + { "あ", "あ" } = { "か", "か" }
{ "k", "k" } + { "い", "い" } = { "き", "き" }
etc.
is there something I don’t get
using Japanese to make Japanese
Requires you have Japanese already
well ok, the first japanese character that I got was this one
i mean first katakana
oh
See I can’t tell the difference
hiragana and katakana is just Japanese to me
I can tell kanji though
it’s distinctly different looking
ok. but it is even the first of both kana
hiragana seems more curvy
spell/spelled, backwards
U+002b, U+002d, U+00b1, U+2013, U+2014, U+2213
i finally got U+
{ "b8", "replace" }, { "1", "u+" } and { "from", "codepoint" } if you still want to try for your awwm request for cedilla @agile narwhal even though it has been cancelled.

It should be more related to #1206818198633193483 but It seems like arrays give some interesting results when combined with some In As
Can any arraycrafter test those stuffs?
i know this is kinda diffrent than your stuff but i got this
wait you didnt get u+ yet but you have all these unicode? damn
most if not all of his unicode stuff didn't need u+, even without arrays
hm
oh cool is this another entry? i have the ["amale" "male"] entry only
Oh I have a bunch more than that one
i tried for a while
made a load of stuff with hashes and tried .split("#")
but nothing worked
Not home rn so cant post the elements rn
I used this as a entry but i might have more that use String.partition
This+Prepend Hashtag+some sort of append
yeah like each letter one by one or all at once
do we have single quote arrays?
still giving air and not wind .. I really do wonder if neal just swapped it out last second
air is probably just more common, but it is unusual given how it specifically snaps to prompt examples but fumbles with the base elements
Fumble is such a funny word
omg neal is tibetan
feed
isnt that racism?
this is interesting
they are just symbols
symbolist
Hmm you got swap but not swap? rare
swap but not swap
did you mean swamp?
I think rubiks meant you got swaps but not swap
yeah swaps
sorry
phone auto correct is sometimes really unpredictable and can "correct" things like 5 words later and you dont notice
Oh yeah you have those crazy trims lol
oh fuck no
What have you done
wow you found the 5 base elements: the Water (it most likely already got wet), then Fire (burns), Earth (just earth/ground), Human (what is that?) and then Cow (moooooo)
HuMoooon
RIP { "Infinite", "Craft" }
what was the entrance even? I forgor 💀
new string [{}][}}}]{ smth like that
the entrance is in optimisheet
{ "Infinite", "Craft" } resurgence? 👀
Oh I forgot it used my freaking fd lmao
my memory is getting more and more shit by the ms
new array?
TABLECRAFT, I WANT TABLECRAFT
isnt this bounty tablecraft?
or sets if you like math
sir please read the name of the bounty
but nata just said {{}} aren't arrays
{ {a, b}, {c, d} } is a 2-by-2 matrix
its been too long since if used matrices
yeah I'm right, was confused for a sec
if you get matrices with actual numbers in them then I bet you could get the AI to multiply them lol
although it might add them instead if Infinite Craft has a genuine + sign under the hood
@nimble lance
yes?
wat
arrays now behave differently:
old:
Example + New String[][] { = { "example", "example",
new:
Example + New String[][] { = New String[][] { "example", "example",
new update reverted nvm

proof: time is continuous
Prove that
Actually I think you'll find you're in #1269983949086654484 , not #1210588578237775892
say "time is continuous" is an axiom, then there's no need to prove that
i'll run depth 10 on array base
