Does anyone got good Gambit comics to read? I've got X-Men gold #30, Gambit 1993-1994 #2, All new X-factor #3, and The Uncanny X-Men #348 Oct 1997 Divided They Shall Fall

I'm ngl it is tricky to keep track specifically for spiderman, but i think you can be up to date (ish) if you stick to the big marvel events, he's marvel's face, so you'll usually see him in most big events, that's kind of my suggestion, ypu could also follow his comics but i don't think you wanna read 150+ stories

So, I can just open any magazine and read a story normally? It won't affect or predict events?

Well, there's several issues in a story, from 5-10 (sometimes more), each issue is around 20 pages, so you might get an idea with that

It really depends on which one you wanna read, sometimes you don't really need to have read something particularly to understand a comic book story, or sometimes you have to read 10 years worth of stories to understand what's going on, again, it depends

But honestly, don't overthink it, if you wanna dive in and read a story, go for it tbh

My first ever comic was spiderman/deadpool, and i hadn't read anything really before, i knew 2 or 3 things about the comic books' lore, because popularity, but there really weren't any major plot lines that were hard to catch up to other than the secret wars reboot, so you could just do the same, maybe you could do a little digging and see what happened, but i just decided to go for it and just do some research on something i didn't understand (which doesn't happen as often as you'd think)

I will now begin with one of the stories, but I am afraid of getting ahead of myself and seeing the hero's strength and his end without knowing what he did to become that way.

I think Jeph leob's Spiderman: blue is a nice starting and self contained story that goes over spideys early days really well.

i recommend ultimate spiderman, i’ve heard it’s really good and i know you can gets books of the comics (usually about 5 issues in 1 and they’re like $12) so you can catch up faster :)

Hi I'm falling in love with Magik in Rivals so I need comic recommendations involving Magik

For magik, the internet search suggested New Mutants...but then I went from there and reading the Dawn of X omnibuses. Starting with house of X. Has a lot of Krakoa lore too

Magik and Storm limited series for her original intro, Claremont new mutants she is featured a lot, new mutants 2009 feels a bit more modern of a start, and Bendis Uncanny X-men 2013 features her more iconic outfit with her crown.

i think magik is great in bendis' uncanny x-men, especially from a mystical sort of perspective (stuff to do with dr strange etc) but also just a great member of a very disfunctional ragtag team of rebels

Yeah that run was really good for Magik, aside from the ending (but apparently Bendis endings aren’t the best in general from what I’ve heard). But a good read overall, and it was fun seeing her work with cyclops, emma, and mag

A season with sabretooth and kraven with the name THE HUNT IS ON would’ve been wayyyy better

Not really

Sabretooth and Kraven don't feel like an interesting mix for a hunter and prey scenario.

I think RIVALS does best when both characters are vastly unique but also have things that make them "Rivals".

Sabretooth and Blade also feels like a very personal fight than one that would involve the cast of RIVALS in their conflict like every other addition has so far

Kraven taking on the Savage Land would be good tho for a season as it would require Ka-Zar requesting help from the heroes, wouldn't add Ka-Zar as a hero probably tho. Most likely someone else, maybe Zabu but have Ka-Zar appear in Zabu's ult???

Or Kraven hunting the Inhumans to add a new level to his hunt as that would also require help from the heroes, Triton as the secondary hero would be preferable there to see that conflict.

Maybe put Robbie Reyes against Sabretooth?

Wait, Sabretooth vs Jack O'Lantern

Jack has multiple people that are him which no one knows who they are and Sabretooth would probably be genuinely scared with a (seemingly) unkillable target that genuinely has no fear facing him as Sabretooth probably would kill the other Jack's but yet he'd still be chased by one after brutally killing the other.

Plus both of them, Sabretooth running and Jack chasing after would cause so much destruction the heroes would have to get involved.

Rereading Krakoa comics, and by Maurader 2019 you can tell they REALLY wanted to get Magik and Kitty together

Her first one screen girl kiss in Maurader #12, is just some random tattoo artist, whos never named, never shows up again, never has any relevancy past that point

But its right after she reunited with Magik, the tattoo artist looks like Temu Magik, and oh did i mention, Magik hired a mariachi band to play a romance song to Kitty

I tried to read Spider-Man Blue but I can't continue. Also, when I searched for the beginning of Spider-Man, I found more than one drawing. I didn't understand which one was the correct and official one. I think if I don't follow the stories from the beginning, I won't be able to understand the hero's beginning, what happened to him, how he got his powers and friendships.

Also, who is the best artist or which part should I follow from the beginning because I couldn't understand the story from the text 😅

I'm thinking of Spider-Man and Phoenix, and also Rogue and the White Fox.

And there's multiple artists who've worked on spiderman comics, but the most prominent ones are john romita sr and jr (for better or worse in romita jr's case) there's humberto ramos, ed mcguinness (one of my personal favorites), alex ross (the goat), sal buscema, mark bagley, todd mcfarlane, ryan ottley (better known for his work for most of invincible comics, one of my favorites too), gabrielle dell'otto, etc, etc, etc

Just going around in my communities Congratulating Rogueneto fandom even tho they make me sick but for officially beating the former Married couple Mr&Mrs.Lebeau & s2 in June is just the begining while the Comics are gonna get worse for them plus Rogue has already ditched Remy in January plus in the new Uncanny coming up by Gail she is doing what Kelly did in CaptainMarvel 2019 sadly to say which Kelly had Rogue turned & try killing Gambit but this time Gail is gonna have Remy attack her is a way to get rid of Remy in the Comics since Marvel made it known they wanna replace him badly for Magneto..

Also Amazing Fantasy was not a Spider-Man series. It was a series of "whatever the hell went in".

Cause Spider-Man was looked on as an idea that shouldn't go forward until Amazing Fantasy 15 where he was slotted in because it didn't matter

Tho the issue I tend to see is they only have stories fron the last 10 years

Unless you go for epic collections but those are bigger and much more expensive

Cause I would've had Thunderbolts Justice Like Lightning by now if it wasn't £50

Or an Iron Fist one cause it's expensive even on sale
