Loki wins the tournament under the mystical beast and gives Shou Lao’s chi to Doom and in return Loki gets a feather from the Phoenix that Doom is in possession of. Apparently Loki is gathering certain materials to allow him to rewrite his story, and the Phoenix feather will be used as the quill to do so. It’s possible Loki becomes a big bad one of these upcoming seasons where he rewrites everyone’s story, maybe where the heroes are the villains and the villains are the heroes, we’ll see.

They put it on slow mode in the beginning of a season I think, but also I’m not entirely sure. I believe the Phoenix feather is from a general Phoenix but it could also come from the Phoenix with Jean Grey, it doesn’t really specify, but I’m going to assume it could come from Phoenix with Jean Grey. You should read Loki’s most recent story card, maybe someone brighter can discern this.

There's about....8+ comics or so at the moment, several dozen in game event entries you might want to look up on a wiki, character entries, so on. There's cinematics saved for the potential ends of the game battles.

Kinda sorta, like her peers, Galactus, Knull, and higher cosmic beings like Eternity or infinity, there is generally meta multiversal version, as well as specific ones in a given universe. They aren't different, exactly, though there can be some drift between instances I guess depending on how singular they act? I.e. Knull is multiversal but if I remember maintains a single instance, vs eternity or infinity that have meta as well as singular universal forms or Galactus that has one in each universe but iirc they may share still share some level of consciousness even though he was formerly a mortal before bonding with the Cosmic Egg from the last multiverse/universe (as evidenced by the time Abraxas broke out of one of his instances, since he's a lock, and killed all the rest, across the multiverse, he got better though). The Phoenix specifically always goes back to the multiversal nexus of the white hot room, which is outside time and space(eternity and infinity) so all hosts that were, are, or will be are there, across the multiverse.

Similar to the new gods and monitors in DC, i.e. you can defeat a darksied, but it's just one tip of a fingernail of THE Darksied that is using that representation as an avatar into a single universe. Was a whole plotpoint where he reabsorbed all the avatars and started beating face.

It’s the feather of the Phoenix, not the Phoenix itself

Oh yeah on that original thing, the Phoenix leaves traces all around at least the 616 universe, anything that a former host dumped power into has at least an echo of power(i.e. the blade of the phoenix from it's Shi'ar host, Rachel Summers ate that to get a power boost without bonding to the main entity). Or the Stepford Cuckoos(Emma Frost's weird hiveminded genetically engineered clone daughters) have a chunk of the entity psionically trapped in their diamond hearts, so on. It's partially a survival mechanism so even if the main entity is somehow unable to revive, those fragments can come together and reform the phoenix.

At least in the 616 universe she mainly grew up with the X-men when he was fully in his villain swing, probably maintains that guarded stance even if he's gone on a kind of redemption arc.

Similar to how she's kind of ok with backing Apocalypse, but only against Konshu in the egyptian god fighting because for all the reasons to hate him, he is all about mutants.

Joe, of course we already know that Daredevil was the leader of the 8th, but interestingly we see variants of Wolverine, Loki, (who looks to be Storm), and Groot.

Surprisingly, these aren’t the most interesting character here though, as we see Widow, but the base skin, suggesting this is the widow we’re following within the Narrative, a dude u don’t know, and most excitingly, what looks to be White Tiger (the first incarnation of the character, though it might not be White Tiger, cause the character looks to be wielding some weapons, and from my understanding, white tiger is essentially the counterpart to Black Panther… but like… for the tiger god.)

Daredevil lore in Marvel Rivals is so good because imo at least I hated the end of Chip Zdarsky's run where Matt came back as an amnesiac priest after he literally died. The MR lore changes it so after that those events he controls the beast's power bcs of YingLong and became part of KunLun. It honestly makes it better for me, made the sacrifice mean more to me.

It also adds a huge moral conflict as he is a devout Catholic and he's going into this sort of supernatural and, dare I say satanic things. It is kind of a shame it's in Marvel Rivals though because these concepts can't be fully explored.

SW and magik tells us that Magik is considering siding with apocalypse against the gods to help him ascend to godhood and Scarlet witch tries to reason with her but Magik seems to hate khonshu as she goes "Ok yea he's bad but is he worse than Khonshu?"

I don’t know much about her background but I can summarize the rivals lore
She was in New York when the Entanglement hit and Doom gave Dracula his Empire of Eternal Night. She fights off vampires until she meets the squirrel goddess Ratatoskr, who was summoned to Midgard by Doom and Dracula. Dracula shows up and reveals that since he can control other rodents he can control squirrels as well. He takes Ratatoskr away and Iron Man and Moon Knight show up and rescue her from an army of vampires

With help from Emma Frost, they upload the wolf’s consciousness and create a new body for it. After that she, Rocket, Jeff, and Thing leave for the beach episode seen in the Season 2 comic

But how those tie back to Rogue and Gambit (if the rumors are true, Netease has done fake-outs before) remain to be seen.

The amount of head canons that can come out of this game and they have a 80% chance of being true is really cool

So, I know I've already brought this up here recently, but I'm still so curious to see what they're doing with the story next season. I know the last gallery card we got was a letter from the Grandmaster, and now Spider-Man's new Man-Spider skin is the first to kick off the Collector's Collection theme, but the Heart of the Dragon storyline, by no means, feels resolved. Some have said that next season would be the tournament, but would also incorporate the Grandmaster, and maybe even the Collector. I don't know how I feel about it yet. This season has had the least amount of new lore in gallery cards and hero stories, and I for one very much preferred each season having a central storyline that was introduced and completed in one season. Any thoughts?

While I am wondering what they have planned for the last week, I highly doubt they'll do that. They usually let those passes go on for a bit, and I don't think they'd release one in the last week. To be honest, it seems that they've just screwed the pooch in terms of lore this season. It's probably got a lot to do with them focusing more on the zombies mode (which we got in place of a second map this season), not that there was no way for them to get more gallery cards out. We got another battle chest in this second half. We got the rest of the gallery cards from that last season. They could have just done that again. I will say, I do miss having the lore events in every half. They stopped giving us those events in the second half during Season 3.

I know it's canon that all these characters fight together, but the lore in Season 0 had me believing that, canonically all these characters where being introduced within their own conflicts, but weren't yet actually fighting together as a whole roster. I know there are some ways to get across Chronoverses that have been introduced, but we never really got a central bit of lore explaining when the roster actually got together to get across normally. I feel like there's a huge hole between the beginning of the Timestream Entanglement and the entire roster coming together that hasn't been shown, and I would love to see that.

S5 and 6 tie in story wise and S5 has to do with eternal love. Elsa and Deadpool have dated in the comics, so theyd fit the continuing theme. While there is a chance she could honestly come to S7 -- what makes me think S6 is something Miller said. One of the characters designs is going to be inspired by another character that has questionable rights. This makes me think Elsa is gonna get a Red Sonja look.

There's literally an episode that starts off in the same place the final fight in Thor: The Dark World ended. It leads into an Asgardian storline for that episode. Agent Coulson literally went from the movies to the show. As in, he was killed by Loki, and season has a major focus and revealing how he was brought back. It's just as much part of the M.C.U. as Loki and WandaVision.

AoS ignoring the snap is just a failure on the writers' part. It doesn't mean it's not the same universe or timeline. It means that the MCU bit off more than it could chew in the writing department. I mean, even the Netflix series had loose ties to the MCU canon, despite being exclusive to the platform.

....Hydra is summoning Hive, an Eldritch entity, which is what AoS does. In comics, Hydra created him, but thats not whats happening here.

Sorry, I'm not trying to completely shut you down. I'm just saying AoS is part of the MCU. It's just that the writers, especially later on in the series, didn't do a great job at acknowledging that fact. They did their own thing, with their own storylines, but stopped bothering to tie it to current events in the movies. Which is something they had done early on.
