It might be kinda like that? Some people were saying it could be like a capture the point game. So you take control and have to maintain control of several points across the map and the team who gets like the most "points" by controlling more points longer wins.

It's similar to domination but you gotta maintain control of multiple points at the same time. so the map would be preeeetty big. People also speculate that's why it's called "Resource rumble"

It also feels out of place thematically. Arakko is part of the Hellfire Gala maps, but the aesthetic isn't beautiful island or grand celebrations.... it's Digital Circuit from Shadow the Hedgehog on PS2.

I like how the gameplay of Resource Rumble feels continuous rather than waiting between matches like Domination, but at the same time it might be a disadvantage.

In Domination, teams can take the time to reassess if their current teams are working or not between rounds, with this mode you can't really do that, so it might lead to more one sided steam rolls.

Though I appreciate how it's another game mode that incentivizes brawl/dive heroes more than poke/defend heroes like convoy/convergence modes

I think it should also incentivize teams who play on site more than people who just capture then continue to spawn camp others, like make them gain points faster if more players are on site versus if they leave it

I think resource rumble is the worst thing added to the game since release the first two areas mean nothing if the game gets to round 3 so its a big waste of time and then the map is that big it takes so long to get to the point and half of your points are gone by the time anyone can stand on point

To be fair the third point is suppose to be a comeback mechanic so you still have a chance to win even if you're losing. The benefit of winning the first two matches generally means you have a lower requirement to hold third point to win. While if you're on the unfortunate end of losing the first two you don't have to give up the game and call it wraps.

It's an effect called "recursive destruction". Basically you may notice that the terrain in red areas of the map look destroyed or damaged. So when you damage it enough, it activates "recursive" destruction where the map essentially rebuilds itself to how it should look prior to being destroyed. The new map layout then has destructable terrain.

Frame drops are not connected to wifi. Frames are based on your hardware. If you lag or Rubberband that's because of the packet loss which is wifi

Hey everyone,

I wanted to bring up something that’s been bothering me about the Hell’s Heaven map, particularly the Eldritch Monument stage with the rising and sinking platform. After a bunch of testing and watching demos, it feels really inconsistent and random. The platform rises when either team captures the point, but it sinks at random capture percentages rather than clear, predictable moments. Plus, if team A takes it back after team B raises it, the platform just stays up, only sinking later for reasons that aren’t clear.

This randomness really messes with how we plan and play, especially compared to the Frozen Airfield part of the map where the platform movements happen at specific and predictable percentages. Having clear, understandable mechanics like that lets us use skill and strategy rather than guesswork.

I think it would be awesome if more players discussed this here in the “map chat” so we can shed some light on it and maybe get the devs to consider changes. Also, please take it over to the “suggestion-discussion” channel to promote the topic further. And I really hope the game adds an in-game map info section in the future so we don’t have to rely on demos or external research to understand these important mechanics. It wouldn’t be fair if players who don't look this stuff up get left behind.

I don't necessarily have an issue with the Hell's Haven maps, I just have an issue with Eldritch Monuments' map mechanics being unpredictable, thus nullifying Cloak & Dagger's ultimate. Moreover, I think the Shin Shibuya map is definitely fun, however the first choke point on attack is extremely Defendant sided, and don't think it gives much room for different stylised plays. The only straight forward method (with each team being on the same skill level) is for the attack team to use a Dr. Strange portal, which isn't really fun. The reason why Ygdrassil, and Central Park are dynamic is because there's many different angles to come from, whereas on Shin Shibuya (aside from breaking buildings) there's not much the attacking team can do.

Probably the prettiest map in the game. The fog gimmick for this map is probably one of the more fun gimmicks since it never actually gets in the way. Unlike something like recursive destruction which sometimes messes things up.

It's pretty small for a convoy map since the first half of the cart push is kinda this weird loop around. Makes finding a good position kinda weird, but also makes it kinda interesting. You get more really interesting attacking angles but it can make setting up a solid defense abit hard since enemy has a super easy time getting behind or ontop of you in some parts of it.

Honestly it's pretty fresh and interesting map. I really like it but Yggsgard's path gets the basics down so well that I do like that map a bit more. But this one might be a close second.
