ok so, after u capture the first point further ahead from there is a health pack next to a Japanese-style lookin' house. once u spot the health pack there is some Kanji/Japanese writing on a rock (the rock is a wall) u can't miss it. essentially u can scale the rock/wall with Rocket's wall climb and if u get the positioning right u can sit on top of it with like, a literal inch of space. u aren't untouchable by all characters but it's really good 'cuz nobody looks up

latest update is V 581.57. Best way to increase fps is to lower graphics settings. Set your fps limit in-game to around 240. Anything higher can cause some lag. Even if your monitor doesn't reach 240, it can help lessen imput delay.

I can finally properly articulate why i hate kun Lun as a map. The first point of kun lun is SUPER attacker sided (like more than any other map that has previously been added) which isn't a big deal since losing first point is a common occurance. But second point is where things get bad. There are like 5 different flank routes in the second point to the point where playing on defense starts to feel like Five Nights at Freddy's 2 (NO DOORS). I was playing a match as Thing and my pov looked ridiculous i had Bp flanking me from behind, psylocke dashing from another opening, and the rest of the team just pushing foward. The second point should never be this one sided. Third point is where it finally become defense sided but at that point the damage is already done.

Honestly if i were to look at zombie mode buffs, i think i'd consider

o Jeff: Unnerf healing from 1 hp/s to maybe 100-500 hp/s. Let him top off magiks. Also add a blue path +size/aoe talent to tree 4 and merge capacity and recharge upgrades into blue 3.

• Also rework his talents to have the eat to grow thing a baseline ability at his 20/60. Maybe increasing the size limit and increasing devour dmg and letting him devour big red guys at 120 cards.

o Thor: Just needs work tbh, haven't seen much other than fly meme thor to stunlock the team or a few throw mobs everywhere.

o Punisher: good single target but maybe let him run through enemies and kite easier like blade, like +10-20% movement speed and maybe 7s vs 20s faster ziplines.

o Magik:

• Increase +3% dmg scaling to scale like 5% like others
• Maybe Magik could build more overhealth (say, 7k/3.5k vs 4.5k/4.5k blade), but have a harder time getting her hp/overhealth back.
• Thus making her chunkier to single hits while blade nearly instaheals every tick.
• Reduce the health penalty on blue magik to maybe 3k-4k hp vs 900 hp.

Blade: Maybe nerf scaling a little somewhat, since he kinda does everything best. (Best lifesteal tank, great grouper, great single target, best lifesteal, great survivalbility, reliable safe builds, aoe + wanda)

Blade isn't unfun, he just has a problem of a jack of all trades that's better than 90% of most masters of one.

Also general rework ideas.
o Less reliance on random one shots.
o Maybe more semi telegraphed miniboss mob attacks like the riot zombie. Like a charge and slam, or a cleaver/scythe etc.

o Maybe add some movement speed upgrades to purple cards.
o 1-2s stun protection on respawn after first move. Or at least when using revive tokens.

o More respawn locations for wanda stunlocking.

o Minor: Maybe have some ults scale better instead of being "lul" buttons. You'll often see endgame comps do 200-700k+ dmg a tick while ults do 2k-10k dmg. They're often not worth using outside of cc immunity outside of Jeff's.

Maybe limit them to time but make them more impactful in zombie mode. Or special interactions like punisher ult piercing Wanda shields, blade ult bleeding squids, thor ult electricfying riot zombie shields, etc.

That’s just a map Easter egg. You can’t actually hurt each other, but both teams can just go out there at the back and shoot the statues for fun

Though arguably, going out there may or may not put you at a disadvantage if it’s round 1 (the map order for domination is randomized), since the other team can choose to not come out and just look at your team comp before the match starts and make adjustments accordingly.
But that’s only a big issue in high level play

Daily Map Fact #4:
Old cartographers use to draw unexplored or dangerous lands with the words "Hic Sunt Dracones" (there are dragons here) or "Terra Incognita" (unknown land).
Other cartographers would draw mythical beast and sea monsters to represent dangerous and unknown lands or were used to try and keep people away from certain areas (think of having a "Beware of Dog" sign up even though you don't have a dog)
There are cases where such drawings of creatures are just artistic flourishes.

As rudimentary as Zombies is it gives me hope for pve in the future. A lot of the game lore involves stories of big battles against hordes of robots, vampires, symbiotes and then the actual game is fighting six people. If they could do this but from the ground up, with maps and bosses made for the level specifically it could be really great

Daily Map Fact #5:
Some old maps use to have east at the top since the sun rises from the east.
Others oriented the top of the map towards Mecca.
North is at the top of the map today becuase of the direction compasses pointed towards to and the Northern Star.
But, from a cosmic prospective, there's no universal up and down or north and south- just what humans decided to name these concepts.

Well, yes, there's no universal up and down, but the earth's magnetic field has an inherent orientation leading to there being a "north and south" based on actual environmental facts and not just "this direction is up cause why not".
On an out of earth scale, yes, there is no up/down, north/south.

I see where you're coming, and that's is a fair point to make.
I agree that Earth's magnetic field provides a real, evironmental basis for telling north and south apart, just as the sun rising and setting gives us an environmental basis for distinguishing between east and west.
However, the decision to call the direction a compass points "north" and place it at the top of a map is still an arbitrary human designation. We could've easily have called it south and put it at the bottom, or even kept East at the top, and the environmental basis wouldn't change.

In addition, assigning north to the top of maps is more complicated than one would think.
The compass needle is actually attracted to the Earth's magnetic south pole, which is currently near the geographic North Pole. So, if we were to be literal about the poles, the map orientation could be aruged differently.
And even more so, these magnetic poles occasionally flip, meaning any map orientation based solely on the current magnetic alignment would only be temporary.
Not only that, but the magnetic poles don't perfectly align with what we define as geographically north and south because the Earth is tilted and spins on it's axis. The geographic poles, based on the rotation axis, along with the North Star, offer a far more stable, albeit still human, reference point than the shifting magnetic field.

So, while I'm glad you brought up the magnetic field (because if there's one thing that I love more than maps, it's astronomy), the decision to put north at the top of the map remains a more practical and, of course, very human thing.

Alright, second attempt.
You made an excellent point identifying that the magnetic field is a flawed way of defining north and south, cause for one, it is neither static in time, nor is the magnetic north pole (in truth the magnetic south pole) located at what we consider the "real", geographic north pole. However, just mentioning "geographic north pole", means there has to be some other way of identifying a north south direction.

In fact, if we study the earth a little more, we notice that it is not static, but rather rotates around a rotational axis, this axis could be used as a means of identifying the north and south as the intersections between axis and earth surface, as you mentioned.

But, we can go further. As is known, the centrifugal force an object experiences is proportional to the angular velocity and the distance from the rotational axis, this has the result, that the earth is not a perfect sphere, but an ellipsoid with the biggest diameter being the distance between opposite points on the equator and the smallest being the distance between the poles.
This area of largest diameter is what shall use as a definition of the equator and the points of smallest diameter is what we shall use as definition of our poles.

Now, however, as you identified correctly, the naming od these poles, i.e. which one we call north and which south, is arbitrarily chosen, as are most words since they are merely used as expressions to describe a concept. The last point is also the reason why one word may have multiple translations in a different language or none, but I shall leave that as an interesting point and not dwelve on it further.

Now, I must admit, I do not perfectly recall what it was we did in the theoretical mechanics class last semester regarding this, but due to the earths rotational axis being angled to the solar system plane, the rotational axis or angle or something else oscillates with time, but I do not quite recall it, so I shall leave it at that.

Daily Map Fact #6:
2D world maps are never a one to one to a 3D globe due to some degree of distortion.

Depending on the map projection, the size of countries can vary widely. For example, the Mercator projection would have you believe that North America is roughly the same size as Africa, when it's actually much smaller.

The shapes of places, especially smaller locations, are more than likely not being represented properly as, of course, you lose the smaller details at larger scales.

In addition, this can lead to the distance being misrepresented. And depending on how the map get segmented, the distance can make two points a lot closer or farther away from one another. And the orientation of locations can change as well.
