Tbh if i were to sat what all im thankful for itd be a long list. This year wasnt exactly great but its a memorablw one for the people i met hwre and who kept me company even when stuff was down bad. If i were to mention all those im thankful for that list would stretch a while. Well, where should I even start.....
This year was a mess for a lot of people but we are still here, some better some worse, but the truth is that we all survived this year.
And for the ones that didn’t, I’m extremely sorry and hope that you all are in a better place. Heck even I lost someone this year, I lost my grandma, my last grandma, but I’ll work towards being a better person for her and for everyone that died this year and years past. It’s the least I can do, for the people that fought so hard for us, families, governments and even old regular folks, we were in all of this together, fighting against a global pandemic that tested us all, some might be gone now but the people that stayed, me included, need to work for the betterment of the human race and the planet, for us and for them.
We will learn with everything that happened this year, the possibility of a new world war, a possibility of a civil war because racism and discrimination, the major fires and earthquakes that happened, we all saw how our actions affected the world and I think we also saw that we still need to learn a lot, love the earth and each other, and help people in need.

Well, now a more personal part, this year was extremely hard for me, from being diagnosed with depression and anxiety to changing cities.
A lot happened this year, a lot of bad and a lot of good too. I’ll start with the bad, well as I stated before, I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, also did a lot of self harm, tried to commit suicide twice, hurt people that I truly cared about and love, my grandma dying, and heck even December gave me something in the form of my Math teacher from 8th and 9th grade committing suicide on Christmas Eve due to a severe depression. But I think the good was outweighs the bad. I met some amazing people this year, so many that I can’t even name them all otherwise this would never end, these amazing people that I met and befriended were what made me survive 2020, really, they’re the reason I’m here and I owe them my life. I have so many amazing memories with them, even if most are online I still cherish them and love every single one, even the bad ones.
I also changed a lot this year, for the better I hope, but nonetheless all my experiences changed me.
So to end this small thank you note, thank you to the doctors and nurses that helped us so much during this pandemic, thank you to the scientists that worked and are still working with the vaccine, thank you to the firefighters who bravely fought the many horrific fires we had this year, thank you to the police (even if they did a lot of bad too) for somewhat applying the confinement measures and thank you to the politicians for taking all the stress and tiredness that this pandemic brought upon them.
And on a personal note, thank you, thank you, thank you so so much to all my friends and all the people that I love and care about, thank you with all my heart.
In the end, thanks to everyone.

Even though I have not talked here a while, this brawlhalla server has brought much joy to me. I talked mainly in #general-2 and met many great people, @tough gull @balmy nexus @fluid trench @gusty bane @long python and french man @earnest sparrow just to name a few. (btw where the heck is @nimble jackalthepro) You chillers vibed so well and i felt really included and supported. I also want to thank the event team for organizing amazing events. The creativity is insane and you guys are legends. The events also helped me come back to drawing like the event art contests and the summer art contests.
Some people might not know but their amazing drawings inspire me so much. @median geode @sharp falcon and @steel pecan . You guys made brawlhalla so much more than an indie game taking it into a whole new perspective.
Even there might be some toxic members, this server has supportive and positive people. The admins and mods are also legends for running this server and keeping this up to date. As well as answering the modmail, however many dumb messages you receive. XD
On a last note, this brawlhalla community is super great and even if i dont keep up, I hope that everyone's 2021 is great and lasts to be great. I'm moving on in HS and started playing other games ||valorant 👀 || and I havent been too invested but thanks for being a great community to put a little bit more of positivity into my year. Honestly, I'm quite thankful for many things that have shown up in my life, through thick and thin. The memories I’ve shared with people and the people I was able to meet. Everyone in my life has made an impact on me and has changed my life in a way not many people could do. To all the people I’ve met online, and to the people I’ve known in real life, it brings me quite a bit of joy to have got to know them, as a friend, and as a person. First of all, I want to thank everyone for sticking by me this far and being able to take care of yourself. The fact that you’ve all made it this far shows me that you are strong. You are able to keep going. 2021, or 2022, your will and integrity has led you to the end of 2020, the year which most people dread. We’ve faced a lot of hardships this year; we’ve faced many great challenges. But there is no good without bad. Though we have had all these moments of pure bliss, there have been some downsides as well. We’ve lost people we cherished, and for that, I want to give you my deepest condolences. My heart hurts for everyone who has lost a loved one, and my heart yearns to be able to create a feeling of acceptance and peace; to be able to accept that even though we’ve lost them, they still live forever in our hearts, and our memories. But to end this letter on this note would be a shame, so I would love to talk about other things; the people. During the year 2020, some people have been down, without a place to call home or without a place of love.

The pent of anger, fear, and rejection from those we considered family strikes me with sadness. But you know what? Each and every one of you is strong. 2020 is almost over and 2021 is right around the corner. Keep moving forward, keep making new boundaries, setting new goals, and being able to keep going and letting nothing bring you down. Yeah, we do need to take breaks at times. Humans are fragile creatures afterall. But even though you take a break, you are not labeled as weak. You are simply trying to find the motivation again to move forward once again. It’s a cycle that I’ve come to realize. And quite honestly, that’s okay.

Now, let me share something that has been keeping me awake for a while, something that has been bugging me because I wanted so badly to share it, but haven’t had the time, nor opportunity to. I want to talk about my journey. The people I’ve met, the people I’ve laughed with, cried with, and the people who died with me. I just want to say that though sometimes it doesn’t seem like it, I care about you all so much, and I am so grateful for every single soul that has interacted with me. Not good at this “being thankful” stuff, but I’d like to genuinely thank this community as a whole.
Initially came here while in a very vulnerable state of mind, and though it was difficult getting used to this place, I’m glad I came here overall. I met some great people, just to name some: @still crag, @lofty fox, @earnest sparrow, @radiant kelp, @full needle, @bronze cipher, @dark cairn, etc.

I would like to give thanks to this server: I suffer from a lot of mental health issues, and this server was often a great place to come to during my struggles. I have learned how to slightly better manage my anxiety thanks to this place. I have also learned a lot about the game itself, thanks to the members who even bothered to deal with me.
The artists/modders: Even though I have nearly let go my dream of becoming a professional artist (due to physical issues), I still enjoy looking at everyone's creations. They give me inspiration and help me push further beyond my limits. Thank you for sharing your creations!
BMG/Ubisoft: Thank you guys so much for making this game possible, and for putting Rayman in it! I'm was a decently big Rayman fan even before Brawlhalla, and I'm so happy I can play him in a game I enjoy! I have a lot more to say, but it would be wayyyy too much, so thank you, again.
A lot of my old acquaintances are no longer here, but I am very thankful for them.
