Firstly, if you have the launch option -noeac you MUST remove this for ranked or you will get an error when queuing. Don't get this confused with the EAC bugs.
Secondly, if you have a 32 bit OS or are running Windows vista or older your system isn't supported by the anticheat, either use -noeac as a launch option or upgrade.

If you are having problems such as: The game crashing to a black screen when opening it, any EAC errors when launching the game (such as; "Failed to Initialise Game Launcher") or other problems directly linked to EasyAntiCheat, please try some of the fixes below:

- Verify integrity of game files, if the game has installed badly this will fix it - Right click Brawlhalla in your steam library > properties > local files > Verify integrity of game files...

- Try reinstalling to a DIFFERENT drive to what you had BH installed on before, if you have a C: and D: drive and Brawlhalla was installed on C: try reinstalling on D: if you only have one drive just reinstall the game as normal.

- Running Brawlhalla as admin to do this; goto brawlhalla's local files > right click brawlhalla.exe > run as administrator / If no luck try running BrawlhallaEAC.exe as administrator instead

- Making an antivirus exception: search windows defender firewall > allow and app or feature... (on the left) > change settings > scroll down to EAC and tick both boxes.
IF EAC isn't there: go to allow another app > browse > go to the brawlhalla directory \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Brawlhalla\ > add BrawlhallaEAC.exe > tick both boxes for that.
Note: External Antiviruses must also have exceptions made (norton, avast, etc).

- Go into brawlhalla launch options > enter -noeac > open brawlhalla > once its opened completely close the game > close steam completely (right click it in the bottom right icon tray and press exit) > reopen steam > remove -noeac > try reopening the game as normal

I just spent an entire match fighting, specifically using light cannon attacks as much as possible

But the mission didn’t go up at all

How do I get it to go up? Light cannon isn’t working for the one which says light cannon damage

I believe macbook only supports 64 bit and brawlhalla is not compatible with 64 bit, atleast that is what I am reading on a thread however it is a little bit outdated so my knowledge may be wrong, I'll keep looking for you though. If I find a way around it I'll let you know :))

I have that all the time when queuing ranked and it normally means a lost game... I think it has something to do with eac, this game has been extremely buggy for me since the forced eac update so maybe that has something to do with it.

you can try disabling anti cheat but you wont be able to play ranked, I havent tested it cuz I primarily play ranked over exp.

you need to make a conscious effort to dodge away from where they're trying to hit you, regardless of whether that means you're dodging away from the stage or not

dodge timing comes with practise, dodging in the right direction comes with consciously thinking about dodges

Speaking of battle pass missions, does anyone know why I wouldn’t be getting progress towards the Cannon Light Attack mission while playing Strikeout? I’ve even 3 stocked people while playing Xull and ONLY used cannon light attacks. I got progress toward the KO using different types of attacks and KO’s while wearing a hat (using Arctic Trooper Xull) but no points towards Cannon Light Attacks. Whats up with that?

Be patient, it’s not easy to rank up super quickly. It definitely takes some time. Just keep at it, and maybe try out some different legends and/or weapons as you start to improve.

Maybe try some other gauntlet and scythe legends out. You can play in the experimental queue while you’re just trying them out so you don’t lose ELO, but you never know, you might find you do much better with a legend that uses one of Mordex’ weapons, and then start to main an entirely new weapon from that.

alternately try some completely new characters you find fun, thats what I did when I was lower and I almost always improved once I properly learned the new weapon

and who knows maybe you will find something funner than what you are currently playing like I did :)

Same here, I fully stopped using my mobile account which had titles like Jotunn and other og ones. Then again it’s cosmetic so it doesn’t matter. Annoying part was rebuying all the legends.

Yeah for real. From what I understand, the whole reason that they can’t have accounts be cross platform, is that iOS doesn’t allow for any DLC to be purchased or added outside of their own proprietary app store, to insure they get their cut of anything and everything. And since Mallhalla uses Mammoth Coins and codes to add DLC, they can’t have accounts be supported on multiple platforms or it would violate Apple’s ToS. That’s the reason that all the codes work for all platforms EXCEPT iOS. I just wish they’d do that with the accounts too, let them be cross-platform except iOS, that’d be just fine with me.

Firstly, if you have the launch option -noeac you MUST remove this for ranked or you will get an error when queuing. Don't get this confused with the EAC bugs.
Secondly, if you have a 32 bit OS or are running Windows vista or older your system isn't supported by the anticheat, either use -noeac as a launch option or upgrade.

If you are having problems such as: The game crashing to a black screen when opening it, any EAC errors when launching the game (such as; "Failed to Initialise Game Launcher") or other problems directly linked to EasyAntiCheat, please try some of the fixes below:

- Verify integrity of game files, if the game has installed badly this will fix it - Right click Brawlhalla in your steam library > properties > local files > Verify integrity of game files...

- Try reinstalling to a DIFFERENT drive to what you had BH installed on before, if you have a C: and D: drive and Brawlhalla was installed on C: try reinstalling on D: if you only have one drive just reinstall the game as normal.

- Running Brawlhalla as admin to do this; goto brawlhalla's local files > right click brawlhalla.exe > run as administrator / If no luck try running BrawlhallaEAC.exe as administrator instead

- Making an antivirus exception: search windows defender firewall > allow and app or feature... (on the left) > change settings > scroll down to EAC and tick both boxes.
IF EAC isn't there: go to allow another app > browse > go to the brawlhalla directory \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Brawlhalla\ > add BrawlhallaEAC.exe > tick both boxes for that.
Note: External Antiviruses must also have exceptions made (norton, avast, etc).

- Go into brawlhalla launch options > enter -noeac > open brawlhalla > once its opened completely close the game > close steam completely (right click it in the bottom right icon tray and press exit) > reopen steam > remove -noeac > try reopening the game as normal

1. Right click the game in the library
2. Click properties (see image below)
3. Go to the general section
4. In the bottom text field, add -noeac

Brawlhalla will now launch with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled.

Please note that you will not be able to play in Ranked or Tournament lobbies when EAC is disabled. As of Patch 6.07, EAC is required for Ranked and Tournament lobbies.

Firstly, if you have the launch option -noeac you MUST remove this for ranked or you will get an error when queuing. Don't get this confused with the EAC bugs.
Secondly, if you have a 32 bit OS or are running Windows vista or older your system isn't supported by the anticheat, either use -noeac as a launch option or upgrade.

If you are having problems such as: The game crashing to a black screen when opening it, any EAC errors when launching the game (such as; "Failed to Initialise Game Launcher") or other problems directly linked to EasyAntiCheat, please try some of the fixes below:

- Verify integrity of game files, if the game has installed badly this will fix it - Right click Brawlhalla in your steam library > properties > local files > Verify integrity of game files...

- Try reinstalling to a DIFFERENT drive to what you had BH installed on before, if you have a C: and D: drive and Brawlhalla was installed on C: try reinstalling on D: if you only have one drive just reinstall the game as normal.

- Running Brawlhalla as admin to do this; goto brawlhalla's local files > right click brawlhalla.exe > run as administrator / If no luck try running BrawlhallaEAC.exe as administrator instead

- Making an antivirus exception: search windows defender firewall > allow and app or feature... (on the left) > change settings > scroll down to EAC and tick both boxes.
IF EAC isn't there: go to allow another app > browse > go to the brawlhalla directory \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Brawlhalla\ > add BrawlhallaEAC.exe > tick both boxes for that.
Note: External Antiviruses must also have exceptions made (norton, avast, etc).

- Go into brawlhalla launch options > enter -noeac > open brawlhalla > once its opened completely close the game > close steam completely (right click it in the bottom right icon tray and press exit) > reopen steam > remove -noeac > try reopening the game as normal

If you did it manually you could look in your recycle bin to look for the files, but if you uninstall via steam, you have to install mods like blurred backgrounds yourself by placing the map backgrounds in the folder

hey whenever I try to start brawlhalla I get this weird Adobe Air error message that says I need to download a version of adobe air, and it points me to a link. I downloaded the version of air from that link and it still isn't working. the only thing that fixes this is rebooting my computer but once I open up any other game in steam I can no longer open brawl without rebooting

if you're talking about strings:

if they dodge in, just land and nlight
if they dodge out, cd and nair
if they dodge down they're dumb
if they dodge up, jump and nair
if they spot dodge, land and nlight

ofc, all of those are just specific options and aren't the only ones.
scythe is about freestyling strings and extending them through dodge reads

How do I fight scythe users

I'm honestly getting tired

Mostly because I use weapons like axe and greatsword and the hitboxes make no fucking sense

I can see and hear the hit effect but for some reason nothing happens?

They can interrupt my swings/sigs with just their light attacks

Hell am I supposed to do

Literally any other weapon I'm cool with (Lance is annoying but that's a spam issue)

But scythe literally is impossible to fight against if thr person using it knows what they're doing

Can't even dodge, and if you do dodge they can just grab you again

They can light attack combo in thr middle of my light attack combo, that's how fast they swing
