In the most recent patch, 6.07, a new sound engine was released for PC and mobile, so your in-game audio experience may be different than what you're used to, including but not limited to volume balancing and on-hit sounds.

If you would like to play with old sounds from patch 6.06, you can enable the tournament-training - Temporary Windows-only version of tech-test with 6.06 sounds, available until June 13th beta in your Steam library -> Brawlhalla -> Properties -> Betas -> tournament-training - Temporary Windows-only version of tech-test with 6.06 sounds, available until June 13th.

It is known that Android devices do not have any sounds - a fix is currently being worked on - for the most up-to-date information, please check #community-news and Brawlhalla social media.

You can do it different ways but the general idea is you recovery to start then recovery them again the opposite way so they bounce and then finish them off with a dair/nair/sair/whatever, you can also gc dlight in it

If you're getting an error related to "easy anti cheat", add the -noeac launch option in Steam -> Brawlhalla -> Settings -> Properties:

1. Right click the game in the library
2. Click properties (see image below)
3. Go to the general section
4. In the bottom text field, add -noeac

Brawlhalla will now launch with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled.

Please note that you will not be able to play in Ranked or Tournament lobbies when EAC is disabled. As of Patch 6.07, EAC is required for Ranked and Tournament lobbies.

best bet is reinstalling/verifying game files, you CAN disable it with -noeac in launch options but you wont be able to play ranked/tournament. if you have 32 bit OS or windows 7/8 or older you might not be able to solve it tho

Improving Performance (PC)
1. Use the techtest beta
The techtest is a beta branch with expiramental optimizations. To use it:

Go to your steam library.
Right click Brawlhalla.
Click Properties.
In the menu that opens click Betas.
In the dropdown menu at the top select "tech-test - Testing new engine tech".

2. Set brawlhalla to high performance mode (Windows only)

Make sure Brawlhalla is open.
Open task manager: ctrl+alt+delete. Select task manager.
Click on the Details tab.
Right click the Brawlhalla process and select Set Priority.
Select the desired (high) priority.

For the next options, you must know how to edit a game's launch options:
Go to your steam library.
Right click Brawlhalla.
Click Properties.
The menu that opens should have a text box at the bottom. This is where you enter the launch options. For multiple launch options, put a space between them.

3. The -noeac launch option

Disables Easy Anti-Cheat, which has some input lag issues atm. Note that this launch option cannot be used in tournaments. There are no other limitations atm.

4. The -framefixunbounded launch option

Requires the techtest (see option 1). New and experimental.
Reduces input lag and disables v-sync.
If you get stutters while using this, try:

1. Adding -setfps 60 (replace 60 with your monitor's refresh rate)
2. Using just -framefix. This has the same behavior, but doesn't disable v-sync.

Report your experience with this launch options in #framefix-feedback, giving a full list of your specs and a detailed description of how it behaves for you.

There's 3 parts to beating sig spammers:

1. Predict - Know what they'll do next. That's easier if they just use the same move.
2. Evade - Dodge/jump the attack. Knowing how signatures work give you an edge.
3. Punish - Use the opportunity to get damage on them. Hit and run or a string, you choose.

If they're not compelled to attack, fake going in to encourage them to attack, then predict and punish them.

so if you have -noeac in launch options you need to remove that now but sounds like you don't. if you have a 32 bit operating system or an older windows version than 7 EAC doesn't support those (you can still play non-ranked with -noeac) if neither of those apply I can list some fixes that might help you

• Verify integrity of game files, if the game has installed badly this will fix it - Right click brawlhalla in steam library > properties > local files > verify integrity

• Try reinstalling to a DIFFERENT drive to what you had installed on before (if possible), aka if you have a C: and D: drive and brawlhalla was installed on C: try reinstalling on D: if you only have one drive skip this step

• Running brawlhalla as admin (goto brawlhalla local files > right click brawlhalla.exe > run as administrator / If no luck try running BrawlhallaEAC.exe as administrator instead

• Making an antivirus exception: search windows defender firewall > allow and app or feature... (on the left) > change settings > scroll down to EAC and tick both boxes
  IF EAC isn't there - go to allow another app > browse > go to the brawlhalla directory \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Brawlhalla\ > add BrawlhallaEAC.exe > tick both boxes for that

• Go into brawlhalla launch options > enter -noeac > open brawlhalla > once its opened completely close the game > close steam completely (right click it in the bottom right icon tray and press exit) > reopen steam > remove -noeac launch option > try reopening the game as normal

Firstly, if you have the launch option -noeac you MUST disable this for ranked or you will get an error when trying to queue. Don't get this confused with the bugs on the recent patch.
Secondly, if you have a 32 bit operating system or are running Windows vista or older your system isn't supported by the anticheat, either use -noeac as a launch option or upgrade.

If you are having problems such as: The game crashing to a black screen when opening it, any EAC errors when launching the game (such as; "Failed to Initialise Game Launcher") or other problems directly linked to EasyAntiCheat, please try some of the fixes below:

- Verify integrity of game files, if the game has installed badly this will fix it - Right click Brawlhalla in your steam library > properties > local files > Verify integrity of game files...

- Try reinstalling to a DIFFERENT drive to what you had BH installed on before, if you have a C: and D: drive and Brawlhalla was installed on C: try reinstalling on D: if you only have one drive just reinstall the game as normal.

- Running Brawlhalla as admin to do this; goto brawlhalla's local files > right click brawlhalla.exe > run as administrator / If no luck try running BrawlhallaEAC.exe as administrator instead

- Making an antivirus exception: search windows defender firewall > allow and app or feature... (on the left) > change settings > scroll down to EAC and tick both boxes.

Improving Performance (PC)
1. Use the techtest beta
The techtest is a beta branch with expiramental optimizations. To use it:

Go to your steam library.
Right click Brawlhalla.
Click Properties.
In the menu that opens click Betas.
In the dropdown menu at the top select "tech-test - Testing new engine tech".

2. Set brawlhalla to high performance mode (Windows only)

Make sure Brawlhalla is open.
Open task manager: ctrl+alt+delete. Select task manager.
Click on the Details tab.
Right click the Brawlhalla process and select Set Priority.
Select the desired (high) priority.

For the next options, you must know how to edit a game's launch options:
Go to your steam library.
Right click Brawlhalla.
Click Properties.
The menu that opens should have a text box at the bottom. This is where you enter the launch options. For multiple launch options, put a space between them.

3. The -noeac launch option

Disables Easy Anti-Cheat, which has some input lag issues atm. Note that this launch option cannot be used in tournaments. There are no other limitations atm.
-noeac now prevents you from playing ranked. Additionally, the issues with Easy Anti-Cheat were supposedly fixed. Whether or not that is the case has yet to be fully confirmed.

4. The -framefixunbounded launch option

Requires the techtest (see option 1). New and experimental.
Reduces input lag and disables v-sync.
If you get stutters while using this, try:

1. Adding -setfps 60 (replace 60 with your monitor's refresh rate)
2. Using just -framefix. This has the same behavior, but doesn't disable v-sync.

Report your experience with this launch options in #framefix-feedback, giving a full list of your specs and a detailed description of how it behaves for you.

i actually tried watching some i tried to watch a scythe one

thought they were gonna try and rec me. up dodged for that. they went to grab the weapon isntead.
i fastfall cuz im out of options and on high damage, so a simple hit would kill me
i dashjump to escape their range. punish the whiffed sair with a dair.
followup to cd nlight dash slight
i read a jump. they rec instead. if they reversed it i would be dead rn. they didnt. the dair hits and they dont have a recovery anymore.
panic jump. read with a gp.
they're out of options now. go back to stage.

Dont watch scythe, watch basic movement because scythe is basically you moving around with a huge sword in ur hand

you need to build muscle memory. practice those strings until you can do them automatically without thinking

also movement. movement movement movement.
sandstorm's+pavelski's are a good base guides
the shiro dojo guide is also an amazing one. watch all 3 lol.

also dont watch combo videos. watch guides for a specific weapon
and that arent made by cosolix
